This is my reaction for NT14 (on Animesuki, so I am quoting it

)I was busy & lazy to react to each separate part in detail xD So I posponed it to the end. And now I will react to the whole volume now that all of it is translated~
- Reaction to the strong moments of the volume:
She had warned him from three things:
First of all, she warned him that this fight might end up with him being killed in a way different to any rules he was used to before.
Second, she had explained her views of “evil”. And I think Touma had come to adopt the same view, as he kept thinking throughout the volume about how he had cut off the high priest and failed to save him because of that. And he wanted to avoid doing the same mistake again.
Finally, she told him that his real strength was not in using violence, and that his ability to connect to people rather than cutting them is his real strength.
(I will go back to those three points when talking about the final fight.)
During the whole book, Noukan and Yuiitsu’s appearences were fantastic. The dinner, Noukan’s dialogue with the shop owner where we even got to know more about Maria and KagunAnd of course Noukan’s final moments and Yuiitsu’s resolve. I liked how Noukan thought of his student in the very end and did not want to drag her down but gave her a boost to surpass him. I can't wait to see how exactly she will become the new opposing axis
It was good to know about Nephtys’ past. And her sacrifice had a lot more impact on me than I expected. When reading the spoilers, it sounded like the cheap overused self-sacrifice for a far-fetched reason you see in many stories. But no, it was far from that. I should have known better :heh: This is Kamachi afterall
The ideals clash between Touma and Kamisato was amazing and really enjoyable to read. Kakeru was the foil to Touma’s character indeed. While both of them saved people, each had his own way in doing so. I liked the contrast between the two. I also loved Touma’s speech about how a normal high school boy can be a hero, and how he (Touma) is ready to accept his friends’ help if it allowed him to create that happy end for everyone, to find that third solution Kamisato was unable to see. I believe this shows how much Touma grew as a character compared to before, where he usd to do everything by himself.
Now about the conclusion of their fight:
I think that Touma lost in the end (as a normal high school boy, in other words, before IT surfaced), even when he was owning Kakeru at first, for a few precise reasons.
First, he had lost the gamble. While most lf his speeh was based on how everyone could very well be saved, this time Touma was wrong, and Nephtys ended up dead, proving Kamisato’s point. I think this might have shaken their odds.
Besides, Touma in the end purposely ignored Othinus’s warning and his own hunch. He decided to give up on Kamisato, cut him off and view him as “evil”. I think this might have been another factor signaling his loss. Because he threw away his real strength which Othinus mentioned. She might have also been implicently warning him about IT when she mentioned violence. So I am not discarding the possibility that Touma has really lost in the end even after using IT, because if that is what Othinus meant, then IT might not have been enough against WR either. Othinus also mentioned the possibility of Touma getting killed, and it was highlighted in the novel. I personally do not think Kamachi made it that way for no reason. My guess is that Touma most likely totally lost to WR in the end, and is “dead”. As for in what way he “died”, I have two guesses. He either really got absorbed by WR, or he won thanks to IT, but ended up “dead” inside. What I mean is that Nephtys’ death had probably shaken his ideal and belief that everything can end up in a happy end if he struggled for it. I believe this will have its traces on Kamijou’s personality and ideals, and would probably lead to further character development for him, whether for better or worse, only time will tell.
To sum up, I really loved this volume

Kamijou Touma and Kamisato Kakeru, with unyielding thoughts in their hearts, glare at each other, with a menu on one hand, inside a school cafeteria!?
Let's explain this carefully. After the Magic God High Priest destroyed Kamijou's school, in order to keep him from becoming a repeater, he begins attending a different school. There, alongside an unusually unreliable "minimum" Student Council President called Fidgety Rabbit (Bikubiku Usagi-san) is his fated opponent, Kamisato...!?
Facing the threat of repeating grades that is worse than a battle with the world at risk is out of the question for Kamijou. Kamisato feels the same way, and is acting friendly for some reason. For a moment, he wonders if this is the detour to a burning-hot friendship route.
Then, a half-naked raincoat girl appears in the city.
This girl holds an overwhelming power that can mislead even Academy City's Level 5s...! This half-naked girl's true nature is a mysterious third power... or not, which frightens even Kamisato, the little sister Salome!?

As I finished reading Chapter 2 this morning, I had a little explosion on my private chat with Natsumi. I'm gonna share those thoughts with you people as well, before I forget about them again, kyuuun~

While Kamisato grew whiny over being blessed with too much.

- In an overwhelmingly disadvantageous situation, Kamijou Touma's counterattack begins!
The great heat wave has passed, and Academy City has entered a state of recovery. There, in the confusion of the disrupted communication infrastructure, even Anti-Skill is unable to grab the reins of what has become a lawless district.
In such an Academy City, the girls of the Kamisato Faction who believe in the return of Kamisato Kakeru rampage freely!
Pursuit Shop Ellen the tracking expert, the pirate girl Luca who prides herself on her versatile direct combat ability, the ghost girl Maya who freely uses the web and manipulates the masses... Kihara Yuiitsu has used her right hand as a shield to order those girls to eliminate Kamijou Touma, but their core has not changed. Take back their loved one. They have that conviction, and therefore they plunge forward.
Touma flees from those girls who stake everything to come attack. His ally, the one person from the Kamisato Faction who sided with him, was the UFO girl Fran.
However, it is not a mistake. This disadvantageous situation is where Kamijou Touma's true essence can be exhibited.
Now, save Kamisato Kakeru.
Stop the girls' sorrowful rampage, for the sake of putting an end to this conflict.
DISCLAIMER: As my Japanese skills are still amateurish in the extreme, please just take this as a rough guideline of the contents of the summary at the very best. Specifically, some of the worst spots are "Pursuit Shop Ellen" (『辿り屋』絵恋), "His ally, the one person from the Kamisato Faction who sided with him, was the UFO girl Fran.", and "who prides herself on her versatile direct combat ability", though the rest is certainly riddled with still more errors, large and small.
