False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Furuhashi Gou Mon Jun 08, 2015 1:27 pm

A fresh can of energy drink. A powerful sweet sugar bomb. A metallic bright explosively colourful design. And a heavy breath filled with joyous relief.

«Now then, back to work...»

Furuhashi Gou’s day had only just begun. However instead of awakening within the shameful scenery of his chaotic dorm room he had been surrounding by pure white when coming to himself. He wasn’t an idiot so he had been able to figure out immediately where he currently lay. The rather uncomfortable bed paired with this sight of pure witness and not to forget the bandages wrapped around various parts of his hurting body. No matter how much it’d hurt his pride, Gou would still acknowledge the fact that his actions had lead him to end up in a hospital room…once again.

First things first, he had left his bed to go buy himself an energy drink at the closest vending machine before returning back again, waiting for the time to pass by a little faster. He didn’t enjoy stays at hospitals, but his current condition wouldn’t really allow for him to move around without getting reminded of the pain.

Taking seat on the bed, Gou took his time with emptying the can filled with Life Elixir – the actual name of today’s choice. After a while of enjoying the cooling diabetes summoning sweetness, he got up again, aiming to properly dispose of the new empty can.

On his way to the proper rubbish bin however he would encounter a new challenge. His legs being all shaky, probably an aftermath to what happened a day ago, he had more than just slight issues with keeping up his body’s balance. Only his great skill at holding it up allowed for him to progress as far as he did. Well in the end none of all that mattered…

His legs couldn’t be prevented from giving in, after all.

What had been a stumbling shaky walk a moment ago had quickly transformed into a mighty long fall.

«Not like this!!!!»

Mustering all strength he had, the grey haired boy quickly executed his final movement, fighting destiny with all that made him! He mustered all he had and fought back! His body moved. It moved!

The leap of faith was executed preventing the worst!

Smack!

His body hitting the floor, face first. A vicious face wrecking blow.

Lights out. Again~

Clang!

Victory in defeat. His final moment’s action hadn’t been in vain. All had worked out. His quick perfectly aimed throw. The can had passed through the final goal, arriving at the final destination. Indeed, it was properly disposed of!

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 2127drs
Hook me up a new revolution
'Cause this one is a lie
We sat around laughing and watched the last one die

Well, as expected, Takashi guessed. What wasn't expected, however, was Uiharu suddenly speaking up as she did, and in direct relation to his question and the chief's answer.

Whoa, hold on. What kind of plot convenience is this? That was... odd timing, to say the least, but Takashi wasn't going to complain, nor gripe that someone else had already gone through the effort of fast forwarding through the footage of several different camera sources to locate the clips and footage relevant to what Judgement was looking for instead of having them do it themselves. As Takashi moved to stand behind the two Judgement members, simply using his height to watch the screens from behind them, it seemed like the surprises didn't end there, either. Both Konori and Uiharu seemed to recognize the man in the video alongside who they were looking for. More than that, it wasn't exactly helping the other man's case that he apparently already had an arrest record, which begged a few questions - namely, what had he been arrested for in the past, and how was he involved this time?

As Konori quickly glanced over to Takashi, however, the action would go largely unnoticed as the teen continued to simply stare at the monitors, mentally taking back what he'd thought earlier. No, convenience was the wrong word for this. The videos included exactly what they had asked for, but that was it. Immediately from the start of the fight, and on through the supposed end of it. All that did was tell them what they already knew - that the kid had been there. Okay, maybe a bit more - they knew the identity of someone else and that gave them a lead, but what about the other cameras after the fight? They knew which building the two had ducked into, and they knew when. Just using other cameras in the general area facing said building would tell them when the pair had left, and in what direction - after that it would just be a matter of requesting the footage from those cameras to follow them a bit further, and so on and so forth. At the very least it would allow them to construct a trail to figure out where the pair had gone, and find some kind of pattern - either they'd catch up eventually using the footage, or figure out where the two were going ahead of time and cut them off there. Thoughts and musings, however, that would be interrupted as what the chief was saying in the background suddenly registered.

A choice between tagging along for questioning, or going into the field proper with another Judgement member? Takashi would've said that felt like a rather odd degree of freedom for someone who essentially amounted to the intern, but something about this felt like a trick question to begin with, more like he didn't have a choice in the matter at all. Granted, might've just been the paranoia of a new environment, but when presented with two options, one he would've gladly passed over for a relatively easy one that played to his skills... well, like people said, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

"Where is Kerri? I'll try and catch up, just want to check a few things before leaving." Takashi replied after a moment of thought, already working on recalling the city's bus schedule - a terrible irony given the current situation, but his fastest method of travel for the time being.

***

Seeing it on camera was one thing, but actually being there in person was a completely different matter.

Carefully picking his footsteps as the student moved across the upheaved public space and the debris scattered across it, still left where it was both for evidence processing as well as just the sheer prospect of cleaning it all on such short notice, Takashi couldn't help but wonder where the esper that had caused all of this had come from. There were plenty of geokinetics listed in the City's Bank, but there were only so many Level 4s. Even with the kid now in custody, there was also the point of figuring out how to contain him - cement and concrete, manufactured as they were, still tended to be stuff they could handle, oftentimes along with metals and silicates, so how were they going to keep him from leaving and starting this all over again if he really wanted to?

Still, for the time being, that wasn't his problem. While it had admittedly taken a bit longer to reach the crime scene than Takashi would've liked, even utilizing the bus system, it hadn't been without good reason. The other members of Branch 177 might've been familiar with Guy Li from the previous incident, but until he'd actually taken a look at the man's record the student didn't even know what that was. Apparently, not as much as he would've thought - far as he could tell, wrong place, wrong time. Supposedly involved in another fight, but there was more than Judgement's opinion to consider there. Every story had a few different versions of it, and the fact that the man still had a job as a substitute teacher - and more to the point, that the schools and parents trusted him with their children after the incident - meant something. Exactly what, Takashi had no idea, but those were questions for later.

As for the other Judgement member he was supposed to meet.... well, they were easy enough to distinguish, only a bit further down the street from where yesterday's fight had taken place. Again, however, with the confusion - while Takashi was actually somewhat relieved to have someone older than him there, it was also something that threw him off. Didn't Judgement members have to be students by definition? Well, wasn't his problem, and Takashi was more than glad to have something of a guide/safety net present.

"Sorry it took so long, wanted to check a few things before leaving. Tsuneo Takashi, you're McKinley, right?" Takashi called out, making a point to announce his presence well before he was anywhere near the other man.

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Kihara Kisue Fri Jun 12, 2015 2:02 am

His motivation was dropping fast. He'd been out here since early this morning, and he hadn't seen heads or tails of either Iresia or the man who'd ran off with her. He was quite tempted to just return to home base and report that he likely wasn't going to be able to make any progress with his current resources, but that was tantamount to just giving up. Even it seemed fruitless, there was also the possibility that he'd chance upon a clue. He couldn't just give up like that.

Eventually, he wandered back over to the place where Iresia had last been seen. They said that the criminal always returned to the scene of the crime, after all, and at this point he didn't have anything else to go on. As he was searching the area in hope of finding some sort of clue, despite knowing that the area had already been throroughly scoured, his phone rang.

"You're at the crime scene from yesterday, right? How about having our visiting recruit join you since you're currently without a partner?"

A partner? He practically jumped for joy upon hearing that! Two people could cover twice the area, and there was a chance that he'd be able to pick up on something he'd missed. He didn't mind that he was just a recruit; Kerri was simply happy to take any help he could get.

"Sure, I'll take whatever help I can get."

After Konori hung up, it wasn't long before he arrived. He was a high schooler, but quite tall, and appeared like a stereotypical delinquent. There weren't any reasons for anyone other than the recruit to be around here, though, so he figured it was a safe bet that the delinquent-looking boy was the recruit he'd been waiting for. And Kerri himself didn't exactly look the part of the stereotypical Judgement member, so he wasn't about to discount the boy on account of his appearance.

"Sorry it took so long, wanted to check a few things before leaving. Tsuneo Takashi, you're McKinley, right?"

"Ah, don't worry about it. I'm just glad to have another pair of hands around. Pleasure to meet you, Tsuneo. As you guessed, my name is Kerri McKinley. Say, you wouldn't happen to have any new info from the Branch office, would you?"

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Hujisaka Natsumi Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:09 pm

The Judgement member, whose pink-shaded hair was tied in distinctive twintails that curled, arrived at the sight of the hospital after a lot of teleporting. Sweat nearly poured from her forehead result of the teleporting from the Judgement office to the hospital combined with the intensifying Summer heat, but she merely shrugged it off with a sigh and wiped the sweat away with a handkerchief before entering the hospital.

The hospital was quite empty, though it was mostly a good sign as it meant there weren't more injured people following yesterday's commotion. (Not only has Onee-sama been acting strangely, but the one moment we actually get to spend some time with her, something like this happens...) She thought dejectedly.

After asking directions at the receptions for specific rooms, Kuroko firstly started off with a young boy's room and coincidentally saw a doctor heading out of that room. Immediately after, she entered the room and stopped right next to the bed though didn't bother to sit down as things would be brief.

Hello, young boy.” She politely started off despite her disgruntled mood. “Would you mind following me? It is time for the interrogation.”

**

On the way there Kuroko thankfully happened to meet yesterday's young girl, Kobayashi Iori, saving her from the trouble of having to run around the hospital to gather everyone.

**

Finally, they had arrived. Furuhashi Gou's room would be where the investigation would be held in presence of two Judgement members and doctors should anything happen with the child. However...

What awaited Kuroko in that room was not a resting patient. Nor was it someone who tried to push through their injuries to achieve their goals.

No.

What was laying there, on the ground, was something that could not be qualified as anything other than an “idiot” and its synonyms, with an arm spread out towards the rubbish that had recently welcomed an emptied drink.

“...What are you doing?” Kuroko asked in the lady-fitting manner that characterised her speech, despite being quite disconcerted and visibly exasperated by the sight. Furuhashi Gou was known as a workaholic in Branch 177 where they both worked, but despite his respectable intentions to always get work done in an efficient manner; it couldn't be said that Kuroko enjoyed the short-tempered, violent outbursts that accompanied his reluctance to accept failure.

As such, both of them never really had anything close to a "friendship" ever since he had joined the branch.

Post  Furuhashi Gou Thu Jun 18, 2015 10:59 am

«Proper garbage disposal», he bluntly named the task that had led him into his current position without even as much as a blush to be found on his face. Serious till the end, that’s what Furuhashi Gou’s pursuit of becoming an honourable law obedient citizen was like.

It wasn’t like he cared anyway. To him the person he had found in front of himself was partially a nuisance yet also someone to at least slightly be keen of. Shirai Kuroko was someone he wasn’t sure himself how to think about. However most of the time her annoying and rule ignoring side would overshadows all else. Even if her deeds were often to be considered heroic it still made her his natural enemy, for the fact that she often overlooked society’s most important doctrines.

He still hadn’t gotten up from the ground, still laying there in the exact same position, staring upwards, facing the girl. No, he didn’t wish to take a peek underneath her skirt, or simply enjoyed the icy cold rock hard pillow the hospital floor was like.
It was simply that he just couldn’t get up like this.

And then there was also the fact that hospital clothes would always come with the fine gimmick of broad butt exposure.

«Could you please leave this room? While I can see that your taste of underwear screams for exposal I am not that kind of person. So Shirai-san would you please be as kind as to respect my privacy?»

Yes, unlike Shirai who was wearing lingerie so adult and spoiled it’d never befit her age, Furuhashi Gou was the purest male maiden on this earth; so pure that the exposure of his own naked bottom had finally cast a blush onto his cheeks.

«Could you please leave this room? While I can see that your taste of underwear screams for exposal I am not that kind of person. So Shirai-san would you please be as kind as to respect my privacy?»

Kuroko merely sighed as her exasperation reached boiling point. Men... they were all the same after all, only focusing on trivial things over work. Snorting, Kuroko used her hand to flick one of her twintails as she turned around, clearly annoyed by Gou's pathetic sight.

“Please don't be conceited, Furuhashi-san,”  Kuroko started in a conceited tone herself. “It is not like I've decided to wear this for your sake. A true lady does not heed the opinion of savages with the intellect of apes who try to make the world abide by their opinions; such as their thoughts on underwear.”

After that declaration, Kuroko set a hand on the pathetic Gou to teleport him back on his bed. Before he could mutter a complain though, Kuroko interrupted him with a hand. “We have Judgement business, otherwise I would most certainly not grant you my presence.” Her hand flew towards the other two.

“These are the two other people that were at the crime scene as you know. It is time to interrogate them now that their condition are stable. This is Kobayashi Iori-san and... What is your name?”  She turned towards Kin with a confused expression when she realised she never got the child's name.

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Murakami Takashi Mon Jun 22, 2015 9:20 am

(OOC: As a result of Spartan missing the deadline for posting, I will be NPCing Tsuneo until his return. Just wanted to write a quick notice about that.)

After calling out to Kerri and introducing himself, Kerri responded:

"Ah, don't worry about it. I'm just glad to have another pair of hands around. Pleasure to meet you, Tsuneo. As you guessed, my name is Kerri McKinley. Say, you wouldn't happen to have any new info from the Branch office, would you?"

The question caught Tsuneo off guard slightly. He was rather surprised that Kerri hadn't been updated on the details they found, even though Kerri was Judgement's main man out in the field for this case. Then again, there weren't many details to provide in the first place, so it probably should've been expected. Tsuneo simply shrugged before answering Kerri's question.

"After sifting through camera recording after camera recording, the most we could really find was that there were two people involved and we got a general idea of where they might be going. We saw that after the fight the two ducked into one of these buildings. Beyond that, though, we didn't get anything too important. You learn anything that might point us in the right direction or is information scarce all around?"

Before Kerri could answer, Tsuneo decided to quickly look around and take in as much of the scene as he could. He thought that perhaps he might find something amidst the wreckage, although there wasn't really much to distinguish. Nothing really stood out since everything of interest just looked either damaged or destroyed, creating a visually disorienting mess. There wasn't really much hope of finding any clues amidst the wreckage with just a basic scan.

Post  Kihara Kisue Thu Jun 25, 2015 7:31 pm

"Hello, young boy. Would you mind following me? It is time for the interrogation.”

As soon as the doctor left the room, a young girl entered as if to fill the empty space he left behind. If her words and the armband she wore were any indication, than she was the Judgement officer the doctor had mentioned before leaving the room.

She left the room without waiting for a response and he followed, wordlessly. Not long after, they ran into another girl, older than them both. If his memories of the previous day are at all trustworthy, than she was the girl who had been the final trigger to him going berserk.

After a bit longer, they arrived at a hospital room. Upon entrance, they were greeting with a rather... Outlandish sight. Sprawled across the floor was the boy who had detained him the other day. His arm was pointing towards a trash can, and its lid was still flapping back and forth.

“...What are you doing?”

«Proper garbage disposal. Could you please leave this room? While I can see that your taste of underwear screams for exposal I am not that kind of person. So Shirai-san would you please be as kind as to respect my privacy?»

“These are the two other people that were at the crime scene as you know. It is time to interrogate them now that their condition are stable. This is Kobayashi Iori-san and... What is your name?”

He'd been staring absentmindely as the two of them spoke, but he flinched and looked up as the conversation suddenly turned to him. His name? It was...

"Kin. My name is Akira Kin."

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Furuhashi Gou Thu Jun 25, 2015 10:03 pm

Suddenly and without any warning he was sent flying into the air only to then plummet onto the bed softly and unharmed. Well calling the miracle he had been faced flight would be quite inaccurate, but that didn’t change the fact that he had fallen out of the air; something that obviously wasn’t anything he would rejoice about.

«Shirai-san. How often do I have to repeat myself? We are members of Judgement and as such it is our highest priority to enforce rules, not to break them repeatedly There it was, again. With his trademark serious expression Furuhashi was already preparing his mouth and lungs to give a head start to one of his usual over length rants on rules, justice and proper behaviour expected of a proper member of society – a state that girl, no matter how prestigious her school, was unlikely to ever reach.

But in all his anger and rant preparation that grey haired kid hadn’t been given the opportunity to properly check his surroundings, only noticing the other guests the moment of their names being mentioned. Had they been there this whole time? Had they been listening and watching to every part of their conversation? Had they seen…?!

«This…! You…!? Nothing! My dignity! Full Moon!» Releasing a random collection of hectically spoken words Furuhashi quickly sunk underneath the thick white blanket of his hospital bed, burying all that could be seen with snow white cover, only leaving his head to stick out, accurately coloured in a boiling deep red blush!
Totally stunned he remained distanced as far as he could from the rest of group, shivering so intensely one would assume he’d seen a ghost! But a ghost couldn’t compare! This…this…this…!!!

Why now!? How are they supposed to take me serious! Won’t they think I’m some obscure pervert like Shirai-san!? What happens if they spread rumours about the exhibitionist Judgement member!? WHAT WILL KONORI-SAN THINK OF ME THEN!?!?!?!?!?!

Unable to keep it any longer, Furuhashi Gou ceased moving, breathing and thinking. The diagnosis: Sudden brain implosion.

Kuroko raised her eyebrow at this mumble of words coming from Furuhashi-san and looked back at the boy who responded with the name. She had no time to be dealing with Furuhashi's nonsense and wanted to get some answers. “Akira Kin... huh?” Kuroko said who wasn't sure how to take his initial flinch but it was probably surprise from the sudden attention turned towards him. "Akira-kun. I have a few questions to ask you, but lets start from the beginning. What were you doing yesterday and why?" Kuroko asked with a real serious look in her eyes.

«Shirai-san. How often do I have to repeat myself? We are members of Judgement and as such it is our highest priority to enforce rules, not to break them repeatedly. This…! You…!? Nothing! My dignity! Full Moon!»

“Akira Kin... Huh? Akira-kun. I have a few questions to ask you, but lets start from the beginning. What were you doing yesterday and why?"

In the face of the question the Judgement girl, Shirai-san's question, Kin completely froze. The white haired boy's antics completely failed to register in his vision. 'What were you doing, and why?' Such simple words, but...

How should he even begin? 'I was experimented on by a mad scientist?' 'I was searching for a little blonde girl?' 'I just panicked?' No matter how he thought, none of those seemed to be acceptable answers. Some of the options sounded so absurd that they would be dismissed offhand as blatant lies, while others omitted so much for the sake of avoiding that impression that they explained nothing.

His conflicted thoughts only grew when he brought the reason he'd been wandering through the city in the first place into the equation. While avoiding that woman's grasp was certainly high on his list of priorities, it didn't rank number one. That spot belonged to Iresia. The girl he'd escaped from that hell with, and from whom he'd been separated shortly after. He'd been searching for her.

He'd intended to simply hide in the city, or maybe escape, but looking back on it that was a foolish plan that'd never work out in reality. While it may have all that he could come up with back then, right after escaping, that didn't change the fact that he needed to come up with something else.

He wanted to find Iresia, and he wanted to ensure they never had to enter that hell again. Even if he didn't have the leeway to come up with a proper course of action right at this moment, he could do something. He could ensure that someone other than that woman would be the one to find Iresia, even if the person who did so was not him. And right now, he could have Judgement take that role. His mind was made up; he knew how would he answer.

"I... I and several others had been confined. A few days ago, I managed to escape with a small girl, but almost immediately after we were separated. ...I searched the city in a panic, but as time went on, I became less and less aware of myself. As I am now, I can tell that it was the effects of the drugs that had been used on us, but at the time, I just wasn't cognizant enough of my actions to even notice."

He paused for a moment, and glanced over at the red-haired girl they'd linked up with on their way here before looking back at Shirai.

"And when I saw that girl, with her phone out, I thought that she was going to contact my captor, and... You know the rest from there."

A painful grimace marred his face as he spoke those last words.

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Furuhashi Gou Thu Jul 02, 2015 11:19 am

Remaining silent Gou listened to that boy’s story. At first his eyes had been filled with hostility, then it had shrunk to pity.

«So that is why…» There wasn’t much one could say. He had known happiness and leniency since forever. Never had he been faced with such a serious story. Even though what that boy had told was left rather sparse, his mind added in the rest to create a full picture.

What followed was a longer period of thought and consideration.

Judgement was there to keep peace and order, but such incidents would usually leave their domain; therefore it had become difficult to search answers in the guide books. Well, there was one answer, but even he felt like it was petty to stick to it.

«That girl’s name is Iresia, correct?»

It was blurry, but he had regained at least that information from his memories from before the explosion. He had seen that girl, he had heard him shout and he had been incapacitated by what seemed to have been her ability. Her ability…

«I can ensure you, we are currently out there, searching for her. The people we sent are reliable folks, trust my word.» While there wasn’t much warmth released by his stone cold face he still surfaced the strong believe he held into Judgment’s capabilities, not aware of how strongly he underestimated the current circumstances.

«However…In order to be able to help her and those others we need to know who those people are that held you hostage. Nothing can be done unless we know of the root of it all.»

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Hujisaka Natsumi Thu Jul 02, 2015 2:51 pm

July 26th, 1:30 P.M.

Keima was in a tough spot. Though he knew they wouldn't buy his story completely, it seemed Fuuka's appearance had pushed the younger girl's suspicion over the edge

Miyako had left Natsumi and Keima alone in search for news and hints regarding Iresia, leaving the two teenagers alone, the male one currently being tied to a chair in the basement of an abandoned building in District 19.

“Hmhmhm...” Natsumi sang as she sat down on the floor, glaring at Keima straight-on with a smirk on her face. “Since we've stopped moving around so much and the old lady finally left, how about you explain to me what was yesterday about?”

Perhaps Miyako had wanted to continue using Keima for her own goals until she found Iresia so she'd be pissed when she returned, but Natsumi much preferred forcing it out of Keima if there were other people in the equation. Backstabbing from him, she could take, but if it came down to him calling more backups then the situation could get problematic.

"Hell if I know." Keima stubbornly replied as he glared at Natsumi with similar intensity."Why am I tied up?"

"Because I'm not buying your story and no one's stopping me. I've nothing else to do until she returns with infos, either." Natsumi replied as she crossed her arms. He was stubborn, that much was obvious to her. Natsumi wouldn't torture him since she didn't fancy those methods, but she was stubborn as well so likely they'd be here for a while with this rather meaningless interrogation until Miyako returned...

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Tomokota Renavin Thu Jul 02, 2015 3:24 pm

"...Hehehe~." The red haired phantom of the night smiled as he walked down the abandoned street in district 19, one in particular had condemned several buildings or were entirely abandoned altogether. For the past several hours, he had only been watching, waiting and planning. He needed the lines to intersect. The groups to emerge in one place for a final showdown so to speak, to make his job more entertaining whether as a spectator, or a participant. He held a small paper bag firmly in his hand as he entered one particular building, with a crow perched right up by a window. Letitia should still be on standby for the plan.

Natsumi and Keima could hear his presence behind the door, as popping noises were heard behind it. Or maybe small explosions. One, two, three, four. Either someone was trying to breach the door but was a completel moron, or they didn't care who might be listening. Just below the door was the crack as a stream of some sort of fog or smoke crept inside slowly as the door nob would slowly turn. Then it swung open in a quick steady motion.

"Yahoooo! Ren-chan deeesssuuuu!"

In an odd turn of events, Natsumi came face to face with a joyful looking man, one in which looked fairly familiar. After him making a grand entrance, four wolves trodden over beside him, and sat walked right beside their master as he approached the confused and possibly angry pawns of the chessboard.

"Pyro-chan! It's been a while! How've you been? Want a french fry?" Renavin stepped up to her, as if having no sense of danger around her, even after witnessing the bullet hell she gave toward the scarred girl from before. He smiled brightly as he stopped about ten feet away, pulling out a small container of french fries from the bag he got as some random fast food joint. "I bought this one just for you too, and I can't feed them to my pets, that's just plain bad for the-...ooooh~." Pretending to act surprised, he looked toward Keima with a mischievous grin.

"So you still have the garbage boy in your hands! Perfect! I mean I thought for a hired hand to clean up the mess his employer is responsible for, he'd have some trick to escape...don't tell me it was the scarred girl who was supposed to help~. Tough luck, I guess..." Renavin eyes looked serious at the end of his sentence, yet that suspicious grin was still plastered on his face. Keima was probably feeling a lot of pressure considering this guy spilled everything about his job. But Renavin was convinced they both may be confused with that display. Which was fun in itself to act out.

"Yahoooo! Ren-chan deeesssuuuu!"

Natsumi wasn't even surprised, though she had been thrown off guard when he forced his way in. She just looked... perplexed while frowning.

Was she supposed to interrogate his presence or how did he even find the place first...? She could only click her tongue as a reply for his uninterrupted wall of speech, nothing that the older man sure had one hell of a short attention span.

“How did you see that?” Natsumi questioned, not recalling any other presence at the scene yesterday; with a group of three, surely someone would have noticed him? "And what do you want?"

"Now now, don't give me such a suspicious look. I came here to check on you as my best friend!" He smiled as he approached her and patted her head once. Looks like he was belittling her, but burning him to a crisp wouldn't answer her questions. He slowly walked over and leaned in toward Keima, looking at him closely. "How I found you doesn't matter. What matters it what I'm offering." However Renavin may have given a clear answer when he opened the window and let a small raven attack it's claws to his hand, giving it a french fry to eat. It's eyes were glowing red, a bit irregularly at that.

"I've been watching everything closely and decided I can trust you with the information I give you, but I never do stuff for free of course." Renavin sat at the window sill as the wolves stood by, except one trodden right by Natsumi, licking her fingers affectionately. Renavin didn't mind it doing what it liked every now and then and didn't bother forcing it back into formation. "Hmm...maybe my information isn't valuable enough though. I mean why would someone like you want to know where Iresia is." Renavin shrugged, as the raven twitched his head to the side to look at the boy who had been tied up. "Oh pardon me, I should at least tell you what I want...but I think you may already know...right?~" Renavin propped his head up with his elbow and stared right at her, that smug grin staying right where it needed to be.

At Renavin's touch Natsumi jerked away with a glare, clearly disliking the aspect of being touched. Though she didn't try anything beyond that and merely listened to Renavin as he spoke while she was rubbing the head of the wolf that was licking her hand.

However, something grabbed her attention in his speech.

"Hmm...maybe my information isn't valuable enough though. I mean why would someone like you want to know where Iresia is. Oh pardon me, I should at least tell you what I want...but I think you may already know...right?~"

“...Where are they?” Natsumi asked in a more serious tone as she drove away her attention from the wolf. Though as expected, she wouldn't get an answer so easily... “..Heh. Maybe I do, but I always like being clear on terms before agreeing to something, especially if I don't know said person.” She said with a smirk as she resumed petting the wolf.

Renavin smiled brightly as he made his head tilt slightly. He pointed right toward the boy in the chair as the bird squawked at him. "The boy over there can be quite useful to me, since I'm personally hunting down someone. Specifically his employer. But I also want your cooperation." Renavin knew their goals were similar in terms of results, but he also felt tied knowing he can't save the kids and hunt down the one responsible for this disgusting experiment.

"I'll be honest with you, I've been ordered to do whatever it takes to bring down the one in charge of this mess...even killing anyone who knows too much. But I don't like killing those who are still innocent in my eyes, so I would rather avoid silencing everyone I can think of." Around half way through his words he stopped smiling and gave a rather serious frown. It wouldn't be a understatement that he needed her help to get out of this quick and clean. They don't have enough hands. Plenty of information, but without the personnel to carry out certain tasks, his hands get tied. "I don't want to kill you or the kids, like I said. I find you personally to be the most adorable girl ever.~ so what will it be?" His smile returned as he stepped up toward her, and raised a hand for some sort of comfirmation, being more formal.

At Renavin's "deal", Keima could only look at his plan slowly sinking due to Natsumi taking independent actions from what Miyako had said about temporarily trusting him. Chances were; he was screwed.

Natsumi tilted her head and crossed her arms, though she also raised one finger. "I don't get what's going on, but. What's in it for you? Assuming you aren't lying; then why would you go so far for children you seemingly don't know?" She knew that people sometimes could get involved just for the sake of saving others, but the dark side had rendered her a lot more cynical, and as such she never fancied heroes.

She then raised a second finger.. "And most importantly; how do you know where the brat is. Did you do something to them?" Natsumi asked with a displeased frown, as she noted a really important issue here... "What tells me you wouldn't lie?" She questioned.

Renavin looked at her a but puzzled as she asked such obvious questions to him. While his superiors did pressure him to do this as quickly as possible, he didn't consider killing them unless absolutely necessary. "Why help a bunch of children...maybe I'm an idiot, but the way I see it you are too."~ Renavin smiled. He wasn't heartless for someone who lived and breathed battle, plus he had some relatable experiences involving being taken away from his home as a child.

Upon asking if he did anything suspicious, he only chuckled softly as he stood up and took out a phone to check over his messages he got from his intelligence operative, giving him information on individuals he sees. "Well let's say she's in...odd hands right now...some man grabbed her before I could secure her safely...what's his name.." Renavin frowned as he had trouble getting the phone to work more quickly, scrolling to a message giving a picture and basic information on the person. "....What kind of name is Guy?..." Renavin looked disappointingly at his phone, as he looked over the information.

Natsumi's eyebrows rose for a split second, and then she sighed as she brought her hands up to massage her temples. “They're driving me nuts right now...”

Well, what now? Natsumi weighed her options as she looked at Keima and then Renavin. She could either go with the former with no chances of success, or the latter with chances of betrayal. Though her ultimate goal was to find Guy and Iresia for now, so she had to think with that in mind.

Natsumi rose two fingers this time as she finally came to a decision. “Well, it's not like I'm particularly attached to damsel here. However, if I help you out...” One finger was now bending. “If I help you, do I get infos on what's going on or do you plan on making me run around like a headless chicken like this damsel is trying to do?” Keima tried to argue, but Natsumi only ignored him.

The second finger followed suit. “That being said, I don't plan on helping you out until I'm sure they're unharmed. Take me there, you can even make damsel tag along if you want insurance I'm not making some kind of plan for him to escape.”

Renavin gave an apologetic smile and a slight head tilt in pity as she seemed to have a history with these paticular individuals. Whether for better or worst, he listened to her words intently. Clearly she had trust issues when it came to this particular partnership, but that's to be expected. "...'Without knowledge, action is useless...knowledge without action if futile'. Right?" He smiled as he quoted something she would probably have to Google.

"If you wish to be equals, I can't say I can guarantee every piece of information. However, I agree that I have to exchange your services for information if we are to become and effective team.~" He smiled as he kept his hand raised for her to shake. It was not at all exaggeration that the fate of several if not dozens of children probably hinge on her actions. Whether they are all killed, rescued, or reinstated into the experiment all together.

"As for taking you to your friends so to speak, I'll personally take you there in person. And have a contact that will secure Keima and give them a nice chat while we are gone." Though he could just have the wolf by her side escort her to the exact location of Guy and Iresia, he personally wanted to the scene play out, Natsumi showed him great entertainment and wanted to see more of her power. It excited him. "What shall it be my cute fiery friend?~"

The girl stared at Renavin's extended hand. This was a tough choice; there was a chance that the offer was a trap and she'd lose every lead she had.

But...

One can't live by never taking risks, although she was reluctant to go through with that thought, if she took the risk then she could obtain more than if she didn't. She took a deep breath in, and slowly grabbed Renavin's hand with a slight grimace.

“Very well.”

**

The small girl with fuchsia hair walked in such silence you could think she was a ghost. Her pale face especially didn't help.

Since yesterday's incident Iresia had only vaguely followed Guy anywhere without saying or doing anything, clearly trapped in a profound trance. The only exceptions were at times where they'd have to stop because she'd suffer from slight panic attacks.

"Shall we be on our way then?~ There's no real hurry since there is no immediate danger to their lives. But we can take a train to the station closest to them." Renavin seemed to want to take his time with her, whether it made her curious or more worried then before. After a firm shake with her hand, he smiled brightly, as he took out his phone and turned to the door and walked out along with the level 4 Ignikinesis. "Letitia-chan~. Time to come off standby and secure Keima."

"What took you so long? I'm tired of watching...it feels unproductive..."

"Now now, our new friend would like to help us and was willing to accept my offer~. But you'll have to watch Keima and see if he has the information we dearly need. Okay~."

"Haaaa...I got it."

"If you do a good job, I'll give you a biiiig hug when I get back!~"

"I DON'T NEED A HUG YOU CREEP!"

With that the young female voice known as Letitia hung up on the innocent Renavin. The conversation itself was somewhat audible with Natsumi standing next to the red haired magician, though Renavin showed no intention of hiding it. Whether this was a demonstration of his trust or had valued the conversation as nothing note worthy, she doesn't know.

As they stepped put of the building and onto the sidewalk, the wolves dispersed into the alleyways, and we're unable to be seen anymore. Renavin had sent them out to establish a small perimeter to keep any surprise attacks away. Not only that, he didn't want public eyes to see the wolves so plainly in the light of day. If anything they might mistake them for dogs in the darkened alleyways. Throughout this, Renavin smiled as he had his phone open as he looked at something, with her school photo.

"Hujisaka Natsumi, eeeh~? Level 4 Ignikinesis. Age 15, and goes to Tokiwadai Middle School. So you're one of the prized students I suppose. Good for you~. You'll be very useful to me afterall." He grinned down at her as they began to approach the station. Not even ten minutes later and he had all the information he needed on her to know who she is. "Though I'm surprised someone so young could be this resourceful...well can't say it's too far fetched after what I saw."

False Error (Arc 3 Science Side) - Page 6 Empty Re: False Error (Arc 3 Science Side)

Post  Kobayashi Iori Fri Jul 03, 2015 8:12 pm

Iori nervously paced down the halls of a certain hospital. The doctor in charge of her care told her she was perfectly fine, and she was treated for the minor scrapes she had. However she felt restless. She didn't have her phone to distract her from her thoughts, which were still lingering to recent events. She also didn't know the condition of that Judgement boy who protected her then.

So, feeling incredibly restless, Iori happened to come across a young, pink-haired, twin-tailed girl. Trailing behind her was a certain young boy; specifically the one who attacked her. Her immediate reaction was intense nervousness, despite showing no animosity towards her she felt like she could be jumped any moment. However that's not why he was here. Iori was told to follow this young Judgement girl for interrogation

**

Shortly, they arrived at a hospital room. She was standing nervously standing behind the boy, not trusting him quite yet. She didn't feel safe not having him where she could see him. However once the Judgement girl opened the door, she turned quickly turned around with a blush on her face. There was something embarrassing lying on the floor.

“...What are you doing?”

«Proper garbage disposal. Could you please leave this room? While I can see that your taste of underwear screams for exposal I am not that kind of person. So Shirai-san would you please be as kind as to respect my privacy?»

“Please don't be conceited, Furuhashi-san, it is not like I've decided to wear this for your sake. A true lady does not heed the opinion of savages with the intellect of apes who try to make the world abide by their opinions; such as their thoughts on underwear.”

...She listened to them go back and forth to each other, and then listened to them begin questioning Akira Kin. She listened to his story and realized she was in the wrong to judge him so quickly. She felt incredibly pity towards him, and felt that she should do something.

"Um, if it's not too much trouble, I would like to help you look for that little girl, and help find whoever's responsible."
