PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A young girl with short brown hair and large, almond brown eyes. A pretty girl, Mai is often overlooked due to her modest stature and proportions. She wears a typical Tokiwadai uniform, preferring loose, long clothing when not in uniform. Her plain appearance is not helped by her tendency to slouch.
INFORMATION: Mai is a shy young teenager who tries to blend in as much as possible. A Level 3. She feels inadequate, comparing herself to her idols, the Queen of Tokiwadai, Shoukou Misaki and Tokiwadai's Ace, Misaka Mikoto. She has become extremely impressionable. Her poor self confidence is not helped by her living alone and so far from home at such a young age.
ABILITIES: Mai is a Level 3 with the power of PHASE SHIFT. This ability grants Mai the power to become intangible, allowing her to move through solid matter at will. Mai can choose to make objects in contact with her body intangible as well dependant on their surface area. Mai can currently turn three other average sized people intangible along with herself. While intangible all unphased matter cannot interact with Mai or those affected by her power. Since this extends to oxygen particles as well this means that she can only remain intangible for as long as she can hold her breath.
