Urban Legend: The Masked Man

Hey gang.

So since we finally finished Arc 3, Natsumi is insisting I start up a thread for the Masked Man rumour/urban legend since it's been hinted at and suggested so many times in the past. This particular Urban Legend is open to any character regardless of affiliation, ability or previous level of involvement. It will also be fairly straightforward. There's no riddles to solve, nor are there any major decisions to make. Nevertheless, if your characters do something dumb, expect to face the consequences.





A rumour regarding an enigmatic figure prowling Academy City’s streets. A number of sightings of the ‘Masked Man’ have been reported by residents of the city in connection with attacks on Espers and Skill Out gangs. Accounts of the figure have proven inconclusive and at times contradictory. Theories so far range from simple explanations such as a vigilante Esper, to outlandish tales of an inhuman monster preying on the city’s inhabitants.

Can you prove the Masked Man exists?

I'd recommend a minimum of 3 characters to attempt this rumour, with a maximum of 6 (I doubt we'll have many more than that, but if you really want to give me an aneurysm then I suppose we could split them off into two groups or something)
