Hello! I’m coming from Reddit. Never done this before, but interested to try it out.

Since I'm the only one online I'll give you the standard service~

How far are you into To Aru (anime, manga, novels)? Who are your favourite characters? Which are your favourite Arcs?

I’m fully caught up on both index and rail gun for anime, but I’ve kinda gotten distracted on the wiki before and spoiled pretty much everything for myself. Favorite characters are probably Acqua, Shiage, Fiamma, and Touma. Favorite arcs are probably Daihasei and World War 3

But just that was enough to get Acqua, Fiamma, and Shiage on your favorites list? *whistles* If ya like them that much without even having read the novels, I'd love to see your reaction after having done so. They definitely do earn their place on people's favorite lists~ Same goes for WWIII, regarding all the aforementioned.

Like Iva (Birdway/Mugino/Touko) said, don't hesitate to hit up the chatbox. Even when conversation lulls, there's almost always at least one or two us lurking and ready to respond if anyone has a question (or gets off their lazy ass and actually converses). I go by Libertas719 on there and get called Jack for some inexplicable reason (he was my first character). Though I'm currently just playing Vita, myself.

But yeah, forum doesn't really get used for casual conversation, so if you're gonna chat anyone up and get involved and wonderful community(insert disclaimers here), that's your best bet to do it.

Judging from your username, you planning on making a magician? That's neat-o~ Join the superior magic side, show those science side plebes who's boss. (There was a time when there were more foreigners in Academy City than Japanese, so we've got a general no-foreigners-allowed policy there. If you were planning on making an esper or other character in Academy City, though, don't worry. Forumotion lets you change your username as much as you want. It's kind like that~)

Also, outta curiosity, which of the Reddit ads lured you in? Sent some on multiple subreddits. The ToAru one got the most views by an order of magnitude, so I assume it's that one?

It was the toaru one. So I can assume the no foreigner rule is gone now?

Actually the foreigner rule for Academy City Espers is still in effect, since well the moment we lift it all will be thrown into disarray yet again.

As for your question:

3 ) Avatars and Face Claims must be of your character. To maintain consistency, please use anime/manga images, not CGI images or photographs.

Word of advice, I would highly recommend going through the "Important Topics" sidebar as most questions will likely be answered there.

So i did read the rules, but what kind of things am I supposed to put in the application?

There are profile templates underneath the 'Profile Creation Help' tab in the aforementioned sidebar. The templates all have a short description of what should be in each section.

Is that on mobile? Currently on a road trip

I've never used the mobile version of the site, so here's a link to what's in the sidebar in case ya can't find it:

You can switch the versions of the site in that top bar to browser view, if you want. The mobile version is really screwy as the provider doesn't permit us much editting there.

Also also, you should really visit the chatbox. There questions could be asked and answered a bit faster. You can find it here: http://acauniverse.chatango.com

What browser you using? Most should have a 'Desktop site/view/mode' in the options somewhere. And on the site itself, top of the page on the right should be a drop-down menu: one of the choices will be 'web version'. Do either of those and, well, you'll see why I think the mobile site is such shite.
