[SS] Tricky Cat

June 25th 3:30 pm.

The sun was beating down hard against the people of Academy city. The white shining buildings were almost blinding if one were to look at them directly. Renavin, member of Necessarius and officially an attack dog for the organization, dragged himself down the sidewalk, feeling as if his leg were melting into the pavement. Being stationed in Academy city for a while, he had grown to be dependent on air conditioning in his apartment, the heat not exactly bearable for him. He was currently wearing  a regular yellow T-shirt and cargo pants, but the temperature was at least of 95 degrees Fahrenheit. He had experienced this much heat where he grew up, in fact it was rather cold. What forced him out into this hellish heat was the fact that he had run out of food. So he had to go to the convenience store and bought instant microwave servings, plus Popsicles for the freezer. And a particularly dull roommate.

When he approached his apartment, he noticed the door was wide open, and snapped out of his exaggerated melting state. "Huh...I thought I closed the door." Renavin, scratched the side of his head, taking in a bit of effort to try to recall whether or not he took such an action. Never the less, he didn't want to be outside for long. He shrugged, pushing the door open. "Adaaliaa~. I brought food. I also got icecream for-" Renavin cut himself off, realizing no one was in the apartment, not even the bathroom. He scanned the room in a slight panic, knowing very well that she should be in here. He never lets Adalia out of the apartment unless he takes her with him to somewhere. His mind then goes back to the door being open, and a ton of pressure gets set on him.

"...No way..." He gasped in horror as he runs out side and looks around quickly. "...NONONONONONO! WHERE'D SHE GO?! WHERE'D SHE GO?!" He yelled at the speed of light, as he grabbed his hair tightly as he goes into a panic, he quickly checks his watch, to find he has three hours to find her, since she takes daily medication. He felt as if five tons of pressure had just fallen onto his back. "Damnit! WHERE'D YOU GOOOOOO?!"

Meanwhile, Downtown.

Adalia this entire time had been chasing a small stray cat she saw out the window of the apartment. Being a bit dull and usually have curiosity take over her actions, she had followed the cat outside and into the down town area. The cat had managed to get under a fence inside an alleyway, and instead of going around in, she decided to climb the fence and ultimately fell and hurt her ankle to the point she is unable to walk. She remained sitting by the fence, trying to figure out what to do in this situation. She recalled Renavin wanting her to stay away from strangers, so she decides not to yell out for help. She also doesn't have a cellphone with her, so she can't call the emergency line. Adalia's logic was putting her in a deeper hole than she was already in, as she just sits in the alley, waiting for some sort of solution. Unaware that a boy was watching from the end of the alley, seeing her just sit there.

Koyoko, being in a simple white collared shirt and jeans, was walking down the street, his recently treated shoulder wound from a couple days back still training movements involving his left arm. He sighed, only imagining the hospital bill he'll be getting fairly soon. On top of that, he quit his job at the ridiculous ramen stand, causing too much trouble for one day. At least he'll be able to rest when he gets back to the apartment. He stopped in his tracks suddenly when he looked down the ally way.

(What the hell is that girl doing?) Koyoko raised an eyebrow as he noticed a little girl, being Adalia, sitting awkwardly in the middle of the dark pathway, a cat licking the back of her hand. Before he can conclude to ignore her, he noticed her clothes were roughed up, the school uniform slightly torn. Did she sleep in a dumpster or something? Koyoko started to ask himself if it was worth his time to figure out her situation. I mean she couldn't be homeless, could she? The uniform looked relatively clean, except from dirt that suck to her skirt and socks. He found himself staring at her awkwardly, almost debating himself to leave it alone instead of listen to his conscious.

Seluna had arrived in Academy City under an interesting circumstance. She was currently acting as one of Archbishop's many eyes and hears. In particular, she had come to verify the integrity of Academy City as a safe two certain famous magicians from Necessarius were planning on using to guard an important asset of the church. Seluna wasn't privy into what this asset was but if it involved a Saint and the authority of Runes, then it was something important. This was her third visit to the city, so by now she slightly knew her way around. Before setting out for work she planned on taking advantage of the ice cakes sold in this city.

Seluna walked in a relaxed gait, her expression was catlike, in particular when a feline was enjoying the moment. Her lips played around with a toothpick, or at least what anyone would believe to be one. In fact the "wooden stick" was one of Seluna's magical items, the Yew spear named Ibar Alai, well it wasn't the actual one but a replica of the Yew spear wielded by the pagan God Lugh. Not that Seluna was looking for trouble, but it was a habit of hers (and for good reason as an assassin) to always be armed. She had to be ready for trouble, it was a given for the undertaker of Necessarius.

For the most part Seluna minded her own business as she walked around. Her hands inside her pant pockets, she wore her usual attire, brown pants, a brown jacket and below tight sport attire, her hair tied into twin pig tails.. Though there was something that caught her attention as she was crossing the street. Out of habit and a keen sight for observation she noticed a young man watching somewhat-obviously at an alleyway. So there was something in there worth some attention. Seluna nonchalantly made her way to that side of the street and began to walk past the gray haired boy. One of her eyes casually looked sideways into the alleyway and noticed a green hair girl sitting, a shoe missing and looking a bit roughen up.

"Oh dear~" Seluna didn't really felt bad for the girl, she practically felt nothing as she had seen people in far worse states. Now Seluna wasn't a saint of a person, she wouldn't rush to help someone. The world was no longer so simple, she was after all scum of the dark side of the world. It wasn't her obligation to help out a stranger. But that boy, he didn't have the look of someone like her. So for him it shouldn't be that much of a problem, but he did look like he could use a small push on the back.

Koyoko would have felt a hand pat his back softly. "You know, where I come from I'd see men running in there and helping out the poor little dove haha" Seluna spoke a heavily accented Japanese, plus her looks it was pretty obvious she was a foreigner. "Be a gent and help her out will ya?" Seluna smiled, with that usual feline expression of hers.

Having a mental debate with himself, Koyoko didn't hear the specific foot pattern of Seluna, taking her as another passive bystander. He watched the girl try to stand, using the wall for support, but ultimately crumbled to her knees again. She didn't make any painful remarks or expressions, was she trying to toughen it out or was just a weirdo. Koyoko squinted his eyes, noting that she always fell when putting pressure on her left leg, most specifically the ankle. She'd rub it in slight discomfort, in the end, deciding to just sit there for a while. Perhaps the pain will go away eventually or her owner will look for her. When the idea of her being in actual pain came, it put more pressure on Koyoko, almost making him have to rush through his thought process.

(Do I really need to do something-?) Koyoko found himself caught off guard as he felt a pat on the shoulder. He let out a slight hitch in his breath, quickly turning his head to see a woman, perhaps a year or two older than he was. He didn't recognize her at all, but judging by her expression and approach, she was being too casual for his comfort.

"You know, where I come from I'd see men running in there and helping out the poor little dove haha." She started, making a related comment to his situation. "...Uhh...Where'd you come from and why are you talking to me....?"He blinked a couple times before, eyes widening slightly feeling an awkward sweat drop come by. He had been standing and staring there for so long that it made it obvious to the public. He put a hand on his forehead and grabbed some of his hair, feeling slightly flustered since from what he can predict, this woman probably thought he actually cared about someones well being. "Be a gent and help her out will ya?"

"Haaa? What makes you think I'd help her? My time is not to be wasted." Koyoko gave a rather cold rejection to the idea, even though in the back of his mind, he was being pressured to think otherwise. However, as he took a step to leave, he stopped himself in his tracks, something appearing into his mind spontaneously. "...Hmmm...Actually..." Koyoko turned into the alley almost immediately. He had gotten the idea that he might receive a reward from a parent or guardian for escorting their helpless daughter, sister or whatever. Being low on cash, quitting his useless job, and now with a hospital bill for the bullet wound he had received three days ago, he could use any bit of help he can get. "Perhaps I can get something out of this..." He mumbled more to himself than toward the unknown female.

As he approached, the blank faced girl looked up in curiosity as to why a complete stranger was approaching her. From what she was told from Renavin, she should do her best to keep away and avoid interaction with unfamiliar figures. Yet, she couldn't find a logical idea of what to do in a situation like this. She can't go anywhere, and Renavin may not even eight blocks near her. She doesn't even know what direction she herself has gone and how far.

"Oi, what are you doing in a filthy place like this?" Koyoko asked, wanting to know how she ended up here in the first place before taking her anywhere. The girl blinked a couple times at him, before tilting her head. She was giving him a look as if he had done something very odd."Come on...Out with it already." Koyoko squat down with a slight grunt, looking at her from eye level.

"....Cat." She spoke. One word was all she gave out. Koyoko, blinked a couple times waiting for her to continue but she just stared back, as if they were starting a random staring contest.

"...Yup...She's a weirdo..." He muttered to himself, although she could hear, but she simply tilted her head again, like an innocent child not knowing a some vocabulary word.

Seluna retained her impish, obviously enjoying the moment catlike smile. She specially liked messing with those of serious attitudes, seeing the gray haired boy slight surprise to his inner thoughts being interrupted was a small reward on its own. Plus she was helping a stranger do a good deed, that would also help her karma. Or well if it got the young lad into comedic trouble, then that to would make for an interesting afternoon. What better way to get to know a place by interacting with the locals.

Seluna was here to find out about the life in general here on Academy City. She was already aware of its dark side, she had come to see the every day life. This was the place two of the bright stars of Necessarius were gonna bring something or someone.

"...Uhh...Where'd you come from and why are you talking to me....?"

Seluna smile widens a little bit more. "Haha. Oh you know, from over there." Seluna waved casually in the direction she came from. "And I just couldn't let haha you stare all day at the poor laddie." Seluna, kept talking with her obviously foreign accent though her dialect was a bit weird.

"Haaa? What makes you think I'd help her? My time is not to be wasted."

Seluna chuckled a bit.

"I figure, if you got time to ponder all day haha I figure you got time to escort a poor lady haha." Turned out that she didn't even need to persuade the kid to go and help the young girl. She was actually spot on in her presumption. That guy is the kinda that needs an occasional shove for motivations sake.

At that point Seluna was about to step away, but then she changed her mind like the fickle person she could be at times. She followed the gray hair lad and was close enough to hear his comment of her being a weirdo. "Haha, I guess you get all kinds here, haha." Seluna walked closer and knelt down, her lips still curled up in a cat like fashion.

"So you followed kitty and got lost Haha?" Seluna extended her hand and the cat began to rub its cheeks against Seluna's hand. Cats here in Academy City were so much more friendly than the ones back in Ireland, those ones were almost feral...

"And before you ask Haha." Seluna turned her head slightly towards the boy. "I'm gonna stick around, prevent people getting the wrong impression and such haha." Seluna spoke, obviously refering to the fact that with that kind of scowling expression and a roughen up girl, well that was a receipt for needless trouble.

"Whats your name laddie?" Seluna said, her tone calm and somewhat friendly. Her question directed at both the youngsters.

Koyoko nodded to Seluna in gratitude, since he can easily see people looking down this alley and getting an off signal of the situation, and ultimately lead to not only trouble, but the wasting of his time. When she asked for their names Koyoko was slightly hesitant, but the strange girl answered first in a monotoned voice.

"Adalia." She spoke firmly. The name was rather strange and foreign, although judging by her appearance, it shouldn't be that big of a surprise. Koyoko sighed and followed her up since they were both waiting for his response. "Koyoko." He mutters as he examined her ankle, seeing it all flushed and swollen. No doubt it was something she couldn't walk on. Judging by her reactions, she's not in too much pain so it's probably not too bad.

Koyoko thought for a moment, trying to figure out how to move her. Obviously just using his shoulder was inefficient and can even damage the ankle further, depending how far they have to go. Her home may be farther than the hospital too. Carrying her bridal style, in Koyoko's mind, was disgusting and might as well be out of the question. Perhaps just a simple piggy-back ride would get this done faster, but it's borderline abhorrent for his liking. But this is a means to an end.

"Guess it can't be helped."Koyoko turned around from Adalia, who cluelessly stares at him, as he squats down and puts his arms behind his back. "Alright. Get on. We're taking you to the hospital first, and then we're going to call whoever you need to pick you up." Although it seemed a bit overkill to go to a hospital for this, but there were no nearby clinics at the moment, so they'll have to use the clinical facilities there instead. Adalia stared for almost thirty seconds, which agitated Koyoko as he pushed her a bit more with his words. "Come on, we ain't got all day."

Adalia, being rather slow and dull, simply agreed after figuring out that he was trying to give her a ride. She carefully stood up and slowly moved her feet gently over his and held his shoulders tightly as he lifts her off the ground with a soft grunt. "I'm floating." She seemed to be muttering to herself, but Koyoko could hear her clearly since she was so close.

"N...No you're really not..." He awkwardly denied her statement as she shuffled around a bit, trying to get more comfortable. "O-OI! Stop moving around!" Koyoko stuttered slightly, feeling flushed as she is practically moving against his back, so not only does this make him uncomfortable, but it's actually making it harder to keep her up, even with how light she was. It probably wouldn't be a big deal if he had been piggy-backing girls for a living instead of serving ramen, not that he would look for something like that.

"My apologies." To hold still, she put her arms around his neck and held firmly. Koyoko growled slightly, feeling his pride slip away. This whole plan was making him tense.

"Grrr...Why aren't you doing this again...?" He glared toward Seluna, who may or may not be enjoying the little scene that was occurring at the moment.

"A pleasure laddies, name's Seluna." The magician spoke with her thickly and obviously foreign accent. She smiled at the girl, then stood back. She wasn't the star of this show, no far from it. Today's main event was the interaction between Koyoko and Adalia, she was just a side character there for comic entertainment. "Haha" The Sweeper briefly chuckled, she found it amusing that Koyoko took on without question the duty of carrying  Adalia. He was a good kid that wasn't honest with himself, she could tell that he wasn't keen on the idea of carrying her but still did it anyway and as a bonus didn't ask her to do it. Though Seluna had the hunch feeling that he would sooner or later, but that was to save face. Meanwhile, Seluna knelt and took the cat. She was good with those animals and the ones in Academy City seemed to be far more tame than the ones back home in Ireland.

With a leisure gait she walked behind Koyoko, her lips curled into a smile as she watched Adalia play around. That girl did have a simple, childish mentality. It was nice for the agent of Laura Stuart to see that kind of people still around. It made Seluna far more confident that she did the right thing entrusting herself to the Archbishop, who was the only person Seluna deemed capable of protecting the peace of the innocent.

The cat dug into a ball in Seluna's arm, and she used one finger to absent minded caress the fluffy animal. "Sounds like a plan to me haha." Seluna spoke, as she picked up her pace a bit and moved next to Koyoko and Adalia. Then the grey haired boy asked, what Seluna had been expecting him to ask "Hm? haha because you didn't ask and well isn't it the most masculine thing to do?" Seluna laughed ignoring his glare, then tilt her head to the side, one eye playfully lingering on the girl. "Isn't that haha right Adalia chan?" Seluna attempted to get a teenage girl tone and vibe for that question.

And with that Seluna slided off the responsibility of carrying around that lad. "So Adalia do you live around here?" Seluna casually asked, shifting the conversation elsewhere.

Adalia, resting her chin on Koyoko's right shoulder, simply tilted her had at her first question. She wasn't clear on what was considered masculine and what was considered feminine besides physical traits and such. Koyoko just sighed at her comments and continued down the block toward the direction of the hospital. When Seluna asked if she lived nearby, as she raised her head a bit more. "I live within the confines of Academy City's borders, yes." She spoke, her tone giving a sense of confidence, when it just made Koyoko a bit irritated on how dull this girl was.

"Ummm, she meant within a couple blocks, or in the same district." He explained, slightly turning his head to look at her. She blinked a couple times at him before she actually spoke again. "Exactly 411 meters North West of the hospital..." Koyoko stared at her for a second, stopping in his tracks. It sounded quite shocking in more than two ways.

(She knows the exact distance? Just like that? Moreover how could someone chase a cat that far away from their house? Is she that thickheaded?) Questions like these pop up in his head, but he doesn't say them out loud since he can't pinpoint being in her perspective. Her personality was comparable to a blank slate of a personality, and her intellect is all over the place. In some cases she's dull, while others are displaying advanced traits. But one thing was agreeable in his debating contradictions, she was definitely a strange one.  "You ain't right..." He muttered as he continued to carry her. Unsurprisingly they caught a lot of people's attention, stealing glances and giggling. He could hear someone vaguely saying "Aaaah. Such beautiful youth." And such. Koyoko flustered, not exactly able to yell at them about getting the wrong idea, when it looks exactly what they are thinking. "Tch...Ridiculous."

Heat, of course it would have to be another hot day out. It was summerish after all. Though he really wished it wouldn't be brutal like this at times. Though when push came to shove it wasn't a stopper for him. He just kept moving, even if he would eventually give in to being covered in sweat from walking. He took a light breather as he pulled on his collar lightly to let out heat, though it didn't actually do anything per say, it did make him feel slightly better. He was in his more usually school attire, of a white dress shirt, black dress pants and shoes. Though it was probably better off if he had actually managed to change into some sort of running clothes or something. Shorts would have probably done him a get service. Bummer though that he didn't really feel much need to buy shorts. Well, unless it was for swimming or something that was. He looked around to the buildings around him, noticing nothing unusual per say...well that was aside from the seeming maniac man who was looking around desperately.

He sometimes hated his own helpful nature. He pushed off from the wall he had leaned on while taking a break and moved towards the location where he noticed the man. Taking his time to make sure he wasn't raging around just trying to look for his next victim or something. He's seen enough Anime to know that sometimes that could happen, the most innocent people could turn into ravaging beasts just wanting to steal someone and make them hostage. Or maybe that was just his mind melting together 2 separate things...he generally would land up watching anime then check the news..so for all he knew he could have possibly fused the two together while watching it in succession of one other. He looked once more into reality while seeing that from his understanding the man was desperately looking for something for sure. Causing him to open his mouth.

“So, do you need help sir?” Zuisho asked, keeping a polite yet serious face while he asked. Watching the man carefully. He was more then certain the man was older then him...well he appeared to be slightly. He was also taller then he was. None the less the red haired man seemed to have been in a sort of crisis...and his own nature wouldn't let him be left to it. Though he hoped it wasn't too serious, he would still need to fit this into his own personal schedule. He did have a sort of appointment that he needed to attend to, and being late wasn't going to help his situation. Though he knew he had way more then enough time for this.

"...Wait wait wait. Lets calm down here for a second." Renavin relaxed himself first, smiling rather awkwardly at his attempt of sustaining his sanity. How long has it been since he had left? Roughly three hours, so she couldn't have gotten that far. At least she couldn't have left the district, she doesn't know how to use the rail systems yet. So she had must be within the district and also a reasonable amount of range for someone to walk in that time span.

While Renavin was busy trying to assess what his next move was going to be, he sensed the presence of someone several feet away, approaching him directly.

“So, do you need help sir?” A young looking male spoke, his silver like hair covering one of his eyes. He looked polite and overall particularly concerned about Renavin and his current state. Judging by appearance he had to be in high school, or perhaps a tall middle school student but that was unlikely. He examined him closely, his attire rather odd to be wearing out on a day like this, unless he came from some important outing of sorts. Renavin snapped out of his train of thought and ran a hand through his hair.

"Uhhh well...You see a...family member of mine I was supposed to be watching got out of the apartment for some reason and she left her phone. I can't seem to find her right now and I got a whole district to cover." Renavin started to explain the situation, rather hesitantly since he couldn't exactly tell him who she really was. The variety of consequences hanged on that sole secret, mainly involving him and his associates. "And uhhh she is on daily medication so I can't just leave her alone and wait for her to come back." He nervously spoke, as he rubbed the back of his head. After explaining, he grew curious about the boy and decided to ask questions of his own. "Who are you and...What's with the get up?" Summer heat had to be taking some sort of toll on the boy. He can see some of his hairs were damp with sweat at the ends, sticking to the surface of his skin.

Zuisho had paused for a moment. Taking in the information as the man explained that he had lost his family member, and it seemed she was in dire need of being found. That was to be a truth no matter the situation, since she was on medication it would be best that she take it on time. More so, if it was needed daily. The man seemed to be really worried about it so Zuisho just nodded as he agreed to the situation itself. It all made sense. Though when asked about his own situation he just laughed.

“Well, I'm a student. You can call me Zuisho.” he stated calmly, and respectfully, “I actually don't buy shorts unless it's for swimming so I don't have anything like that. Plus I had just been taking a detor of sorts soo, that's why i'm like this.” He was aware the man probably wasn't fully interested in his situation. But he made sure to confirm all the questions before continuing with his own. “I'll help you search for her. Do you have any sort of picture or something? I'll probably beable to contact some of my friends too if you want to help look in other locations of the district. Though I don't think they will be too useful...” at the end he looked to the side, as if stating a sort of obviousness of his feeling of reliability from them. He didn't feel the need to use his other contacts, anything connecting him to his parents by favors would be something he would wish to avoid. But if he had to, he may need to.

He pulled out his cell phone from his pocket, avoiding the laser pointers that were located in it as well. Pulling up the black colored phone and spinning threw some of the apps on it. “Anything electronic? I don't wish to give you too much hassle, I can also take a picture of a picture if need be.” he states. Helping this man indeed wasn't going to be a problem. More so with a confirmation look at his phone, it proved to him he had a lot of time left.

"A picture...huh?" Renavin pondered for a seconding, as he dug into his pocket for his wallet. He remembered a while back that he had received a photo from unknown compatriots was Adalia was first brought to him. It was the only picture he had really, since he hasn't figured out how to use the phone's camera yet. He slowly presented it, showing a girl in cyan-like hair, appearing to be in some sort of white sheet bed with hospital clothes on. Staring blankly at the camera with her head slightly tilted. Her seems to be, in addition, an odd emerald. More or less a brownish yellow. Is that some sort of condition she has? Or perhaps she herself had some sort of ability at her disposal that gives her such an odd color? Then again there is always the possibility of some fashionable contacts. He'd then take the photo away and held up a finger. "I don't wanna bother any of your compatriots, Zuisho-kun. I might know a few who may help, so give me moment."

He excused himself back inside abruptly and walked slowly to the window, breathing slowly. With just this kid, it may take too long to find the girl. And being if it gets dark, Adalia would most likely be the most vulnerable for some vulturous thugs to 'taint' her as he would describe it. In his point of you, Adalia might as well be a delicate flower, where even the slightest of contact could doom her. Of course, Renavin was only thinking worst case scenario because of his paranoia and anxiety. "And here I thought I didn't really have to use these, but..."

Renavin took position by an open window, placing down three slips with oddly designed characters circling what looks like a seal. For some reason, the places where the ink should be, took the appearance of what would look lied dried blood. He then took out his dagger and swiftly cutting his palm of his hand lightly, enough for blood to start flowing out. To get a concentration out of it, he squeezed his hand over the slips and let drops of the crimson liquid stain the seals. He winced slightly, as the slips themselves suddenly glowed red, before the slips made huge puffs of white smoke, revealing three black crows, their eyes an ominous red. Renavin smiled slightly as his eyes let out a dim glow toward them, the birds mimicking that action as well. It was his way of knowing he summoned them properly.

"You know who to find...Search the entire district and contact me when you've found her." He smiled confidently, as he licked his wound, the cut being completely healed. The crows simply flapped violently away, before splitting in different directions. These familiars he had summoned were more skilled then the normal crows. Plus, Renavin will be able to see through their eyes if need be. He slowly made is way back outside as he put away the dagger and smiled brightly to Zuisho. "My acquaintances say they will cover the North, East and West. Me and you will have to search the south side of the district.

It was an odd picture to say the least. Though he wasn't going to complain to much. She was from his understanding sickly possibly. Knowing that, it would make sense that she would look like she was in a hospital. He pulled his phone up to it and press a button quickly as a snapping sound was heard as the picture was taken by his camera. “Oh? Well if you don't wish for them to help out it's fine either way.” He said kindly. The his own thoughts tended towards a sort of feel of joy for this, he didn't wish to pull them into it. More so his male friend who was more likely to just find women instead of actually taking this whole thing seriously in the first place.

He watched as the man excused himself. Keeping track of him for abit as he moved back into his house. He was contacting people he knew. That was always good. It seems like the man wasn't really in that much trouble if he was able to make contact with other people to help out in the investigation....well search.

On the sound of the mans joy, he nodded to him as he watched him come back to him. “Okay, well that's good. We only have the south to search then.” He said, knowingly stating the obvious. Though he felt sometimes it was good to put out such things in order to give some sort of confirmation towards the general idea. “Do you know of any locations she may have been interested in seeing? Maybe we can start there?” He stated after a light pause of thought. It would be move beneficial if they tried to hunt down locations she may be, over the possible non-locations. They could just branch out from there. Though of course it was best not to voice all your thoughts. He just waited calmly for the response from him. It was better that it would be his decision and not his. As this was, his lost family member.

"Hmmm...Lets see. She likes sweets, games and anything that looks cute...well at least I think she has an interest in those. She's kinda dull when expressing herself so..." Renavin pondered, trying to think of what could catch Adalia's attention long enough to keep her in place for a decent amount of time. Places that come to mind are Arcades, Bakeries, ice cream stands or shops, and perhaps a toy store. What bothers him is that, to his belief, Adalia can't do anything in these places without the proper asset. Money. And, of course, she shouldn't have any to begin with. So she couldn't be at any of these places for long, so he believes that it might be best to not get his hopes up on anything nearby.

"Honestly, we should probably travel quite a ways before actually searching. I doubt she is nearby at this point. Here, I'll call a Taxi. Save us some energy." Renavin smiled, as he began walking away from the apartment building and toward the sidewalk, calling a taxi service. Internally, he knew very well he has no idea where she could possibly be, besides within the district, and was basically grabbing onto what might be useless speculations. But he couldn't wait and he might as well look out farther, since if Adalia were actually close by, she would've come back by now.

"Now then...while we wait until we get a bit ways, lets discuss your reward. How about 50,000 yen or so for helping and 150,000 yen when we actually find her. Or is that too little?" Renavin pondered, as if nothing was strange about what he was saying. By the looks of him and the apartment he was staying in, how could he possibly afford to reward someone 200,000 yen as if it wouldn't affect his finances. And did he seriously say that it was possibly too insignificant? It was either that this guy was more successful than he lets on, or that Adalia means more to him than what he has. Or perhaps both. "I mean it feels small, doesn't it? What do you think?" He asks honestly.

Zuisho paused to the mans response to his statement. If anything he pretty much gave a pretty normal answer you'd expect from a girl. Not like it was odd, merely that was more of a hit to his face then not. He should have figured that it would be something on those lines. He just laughed in his head while listening to his statement of hailing a taxi for them. Though it seemed they were going to be going pretty far. He still didn't think it would be much of an issue when it came down to his plans. That was unless they were going to leave the city itself...which he doubted. Merely following the man after waiting a few seconds as to not seem imposing. Then the question of reward was brought up.

“No no,” he stated and shook his head. “I don't really need a rewards or anything. I feel it's better that we find her. That's all I really need.” he stated with a sort of calm attitude. He didn't mean to seem aggressive or anything in his statement. But it was about a person who was lost. Though he didn't know anything, it wouldn't feel right that he was rewarded for just stumbling on it, more so he just didn't enjoy the reward...not like this at least. Not many people would probably turn down money, but his concept of payment and such could vary based on what he was doing. And he didn't want the man to waste his money on him anyways. A mere passer by who just happened to catch him in a bind. “I am sure that you're just going to be happy to find her. And that's enough for me.” He stated and laughed lightly, it was probably awkward to say something like that. But he didn't really feel that it was right to just deny him without saying a justification as to why. His own reward was probably going to come when he met up with his friends anyways. So why not allow this man with a reward of some sort of joy for finding her. He looked about to make sure the cab wasn't coming just yet, as he stood calmly waiting. It wasn't really much of an issue...no it shouldn't be.

"Suit yourself, I guess." Renavin smiled as the cab slowly pulled over to the side of the curb to greet the two. Renavin named a street and entered the back of the cab first, leaving the door open for Zuisho. Once they both got in, the engine would hum loudly as the accelerator was pressed and they sped up toward the speed limit. As the car vibrated lightly, Renavin put hand to his chin, contemplating. They are covering a lot of ground, so this will probably take longer than he would wish. Though with his familiars in the air and a volunteer, the search time should be way less than before.

"Hope she hasn't run into trouble. She's...not necessarily good with people I'm afraid. Social interaction and awareness is something she lacks in honestly." He explained as he ran a hand through his red hair. "Just having a simple conversation could cause problems for both of us. And I'm the one who has to clear things up awkwardly...Haaa." Renavin hanged his head back slightly as he looked out the window at the sidewalk. People crowded the sidewalk making it difficult to see if she was actually there. She was a bit short for her age. Perhaps it would've been better if he summoned a fourth familiar to follow him and Zuisho. Sadly the thought did not come to mind at the time."So tell me about yourself, Zuisho. Might as well make small talk while we get to our stop." He made an honest smile.

Zuisho was glad the man didn't push to much into getting the reward. He knew as it was that he didn't really need such a reward, plus it was all by chance so far...or was it so. There was always some sort of odd means when it came down to meeting certain people. Though, they say that some people you just knew you can trust, while others not so much. Though he listened to Renavin speak. Listening to him talk about the young girl they were looking for. He had, of course moved in beside him in order to follow with him in the cab. It would have been rather odd if he didn't do so. It just makes it much more efficient.

“About me,” he states after hearing the question. Of course it seemed the two had been in some sort of argument maybe? He wasn't really sure about that. “Hmm, not much to know I guess. I mean I generally go to school like most students my age...I tend to land up focusing on possibly some basic work outs.” He stated calmly, like always it was good to come off as polite, but maybe not in the impossible means for this moment. “Other then that I guess i'm one of the more active students? I don't tend to have problems with studies or anything.” He says, the man didn't seem to be trying to pull anything. So he would just leave a more general response like that.

He occasionally let his gaze look on his side of the window. To see if there was anyone that looked like the young girl they were looking for. Of course this day seemed to be more of the busy ones. Though he guessed it was only natural as some people just were like that. Able to leave or wander about without much connection to summer classes or such. He just sometimes landed up in those merely because of his feeling to help his friends.

Renavin smiles and nods his head affirmatively. "I see, I see." He replied back, before he began contemplating something. To his knowledge, it would be best to avoid saying anything regarding himself and who Adalia is. He can only lie so much until something seems off. The Student was probably expecting him to return the favor for asking something about him. "I was originally from Europe you could say, before moving to this city to seek opportunity you could say." Renavin began, propping his head up with his arm as he kept gazing out the window. "Mainly for educational purposes...Haaaaa. But here or there it's all just as boring. It's just a matter of the value..." He grumbled a bit. Even though he was actually assigned here by Necessarius, the 'educational purposes' he was complaining about was actually the intricate machines of this city's futuristic lifestyle.

After a couple minutes have passed, the cab slowly came to a stop by the sidewalk. The cab driver put his arm over the seat and turned to look at the two. "This is your stop. You know what to do." He put his hand out for the amount that was due. Renavin dug into his pocket and pulled out a random amount of yen, seeming to be a bit larger than what was actually due. It can be obvious he didn't want to waste time giving exact change. "Alright then. Lets get to it, yeah?" Renavin spoke, stepping out of the cab and looking around. "It'll be better for us to look around on foot from here."

Zuisho listened with his full attention while the man spoke. He didn't want to come off as someone who wasn't interested in his story. Though to him it was always interesting to see or meet people from outside. Sure it may have not been the most rational feeling to have, but he didn't hate people from other places, so knowing about them was more then enough for him. It seems the man before him had managed to come some distance. More so for educational purposes supposedly, though who was he to doubt his word. Either way, it seemed he hadn't found anything of real interest in the area yet. Which wasn't a problem, not everything was suppose to be entertaining, and maybe if one day he figures out that, he would be able to feel that it wasn't so bad? He didn't know, and though he was having this inner monologue with himself over the words the man stated it seemed they had stopped, when the man pulled out a bunch of yen and paid the taxi driver with a keep the change like aspect.

He followed suit, and got out of the Taxi standing beside the man for a moment and looking around, to better orientate where they where on his own personal map. “Of course, at least we can look threw the store windows, maybe the back alleys and such. A small girl could be brought to any of those places. Though I think it would be best maybe to check out the pets? Did she think they were cute?” he asked calmly. Keeping his composure as he contemplated the location list they had to go threw to even begin searching for the lost girl.

As Tomokota and his new compatriot, Zuisho, wandered the sidewalks of the district, they realized that this was much more difficult than they had anticipated. The sidewalks felt more crowded than it was, staring at them through a taxi cab window. Their perspective from the cab actually was more effective than looking down lines of people, walking at different paces and wearing a variety of clothing. However they hadn't realized it until the cab had actually left. They've already walked under the tremendous rays of the sun for 40 minutes before they took a break at a nearby bench, near a small food stand. "Hmmm..." Renavin was in deep thought, as the two sat under the shade of a tree, planted by the bench simply to give this concrete jungle a better feel to it. "We may need to rethink our strategy here..." He mumbled more to himself than he did to the boy on the other side of the bench. His familiars haven't found anything yet as far as he can tell. And they've checked nearby stores and places that may interest Adalia, but they came up short.

"...Zuisho-kun, I express my apologies. I didn't expect the search to lengthen to this accord. I don't mean to take up your time..." Renavin turned to Zuisho, who may perhaps be suffering from the heat as much as Renavin was. His spiky hair seemed slightly weighed down, the tips of his hair looking darker and his skin shining with a light coating of sweat. "Here, I'll buy you something to replenish yourself and, if you feel the need, save the rest of your time for I feel as if I am wasting it on my own selfishness."

When Zuisho would look over to Renavin, he can see a fair distance away a two...no three people strolling down the sidewalk. One of them carrying a girl, somewhat recognizable to the photo he saw almost an hour ago back at the apartment complex. The main thing that would catch his eye was her shining cyan hair, the sun lightly reflecting off of her strands. Renavin seemed to have toned out any unnecessary noises from around them, because they appeared to be talking...and rather loudly at that.

"Ah. That stand is selling ice cream." The girl gleamed at the nearby stand, a bit closer to Zuisho and Renavin's position. The boy carrying her seemed to be exhausted, not so much as carrying her, but what she was saying, letting out an obvious sigh.

"I'm starting to think dropping her here and leaving would be a quick solution to getting me home..." The grey haired boy growled a bit.

"Hahaha! Now now, you have to be a good boy. You're her knight in shining armor! You need to treat your princess with care! Haha!" A girl, roughly around the age of 18, smiled in delight while playing with her tooth pick. Seeing the boy's discomfort and the girl's excitement was worth tagging along, being that her bored afternoon has become much more enlightening.

"P...Princess...Knight..." Adalia's eyes shined greatly at the idea of wearing a cute dress, even though her face only showed bewilderment. She couldn't help but imagine the boy carrying him wearing knight armor, not seeming to realize it didn't really work with him at all. Her cheeks lightly flushed with excitement, being that her personality is pretty childish for her supposed age. "Uwwwaaaaaaah.....

"Oi! Don't get her all excited over unnecessary things!" Koyoko yelled toward Seluna who only patted Adalia's head as she went into a day dreaming state.

Zuisho looked to his companion for this search. Though in a way for the moment merely the boss of this situation. With their hunt seeming to prove rather fruitless for the most part, and the fact that time was passing. It lowered his chances for his time to help this man. It annoyed him to no end, though the heat that was now causing some sweat to drip from his own hair....no even the man before him was in the same exact situation, plus as the man he was. He wasn't about to let the heat beat him. Plus, they still had to plan out more locations before his time ran out. He needed to take advantage of the area, take in mind the key colors of the girl they were looking for. It wasn't always complicated to find someone that young with that color hair. Though for the most part he would have to look high and low..though..so far luck wasn't on their side. He knew time was ticking, and at this rate he'd have to leave the man. Which would annoying him.

He listened to the man speak when he did. Keeping silent to some extent unless asked direct questions. That was the only time he would really respond, not because he wasn't interested in what the man was saying, merely because he was trying to be diligent in his own search. He was then offered a drink in turn for his time being wasted.

“No, please don't worry to much about the time. I still have a few more moments to spare before I need to head to my prior schedule activities. Until then I 'll...” His speech was interrupted, when he noticed the girl in the background. Looking past the shoulder and to the group then back him. “I think I just found her.” He stated calmly as he looked over his shoulder. Making sure not to make to much of an aggressive move. “We should probably tell those people of the situation, they should hand her over I would assume..”

He didn't think a fight would be wise, plus judgement...would be annoying. He didn't need to have to run into them. More so if this went to hell. Then it would mess up his schedule itself..yah this wouldn't be the best situation..he watched them carefully and awaited the action of his companion.

Renavin sighed as he put on his sunglasses again and kept the glow in his red eyes from being seen. He was checking in on his familiars and see how well their search was going. He frowned in disappointment to only find nothing. Was he really going to find her in this city? His heart sank when the doubt of progress was starting to weigh him down. If he didn't find her in time, he expected the worst. Whether it was a lunatics doing, or the fact she hasn't had her medication yet. He hasn't revealed it yet, but she can't afford to miss one dose. But he can't call Anti-skill yet until she's gone for 24 hours, and sadly, that's about as long as it takes for her to start showing symptoms. He can hear Zuisho talk, but didn't really make out the words due to the fact that he was day dreaming. He leaned up and took off his sunglasses and looked to his feet and breathed a heavy sigh.

"I think I just found her." His companion spoke.

"...............Say that again?" Renavin's response was lacking, since those words didn't register as well as they should. When he refocused his senses he saw her. Saw the girl she had been looking for...And she was being carried by some perverted boy as far as he can tell, holder her by her delicate legs, her arms wrapped around his rotten neck. An angered boiled, similar to when a certain teleporter see's her Onee-sama with a special monkey bastard.

"We should probably tell those people of the sit-" Before Zuisho got the rest of his words out to him, a dust cloud was made in Renavin's tracks as he eyes glowed in anime styled anger, rushing over at high velocity. The perverted boy happened to have no idea what was coming at him. He was too busy trying to make sure they didn't stop at a store, again, to only convince her to stop trying to buy everything she thinks looks edible or cute. The process has been repeated over and over for over ten stores.

"You get your filthy hands off her, you indecent beast!" Renavin let out a racing thought as he jumped up spectacularly into the air, his foot ready to just sidekick him in the face.

"W-what?!" Koyoko panicked as he looked up at the flying man. Adalia didn't recognize who that was hurling toward them and hid her face behind Koyoko.

"Knight-kun, protect your princess." She spoke in a monotoned, yet determined voice as if commanding him to die in the line of duty. But at the moment, a metaphorical spear stabbed right through Renavin's heart hearing this from her. Through the emotional pain he completely missed and collided with the sidewalk, kicking up dust, grunting and wincing in pain as he kissed the concrete in comedic fashion. He ended up being stopped by someone's hot dog cart, twitching and looked half conscious.

"H...His...princess...?" He coughed out in horror. It was too late...He had already tainted her...At least that was his first thoughts because he was a bit of a fool when it came to emotions and how to handle the new Adalia.

“Hm?”

It was an incredibly hot summer day, the sun scorching Academy City.  Normally, Iori would spend a day like this—or any day for that matter—inside. Unfortunately for her, the air conditioning in her apartment was busted, turning her comfortable living quarters into a sauna. As a result, she sought refuge from the searing heat outside of her own home.

The cool interior of a café was the perfect retreat for her. She pulled out a handheld game console and played at one of the empty tables. To help her survive the harsh summer, she wore a loose-fitting, blue t-shirt and shorts. A pair of sunglasses rested at the top of her head. It made her look fashionable, but really she just took what was most comfortable for her. It was a while later when looked up through a window and spotted an ice cream stand that was opened across the street. Reasoning a few minutes out in the grueling summer heat was worth a tasty treat, she left to join the growing line. As she was waiting, she heard a scene unfold behind her.

"You get your filthy hands off her, you indecent beast!" She turned around to the sight of a red-haired boy race towards a lecherous boy who had a young girl riding his back. It was obvious this lecherous boy was a big pervert.

"W-what?!"

"Knight-kun, protect your princess."

And at those words she watched the red haired boy collide with the ground. He remained motionless on the concrete. It seems the pervert knight has slain his opponent, protecting his princess and earning himself 200 experience points and 30 gold. Well, if he were in a video game…

“What an odd group.”

To speak? No Ryuketsu didn't even have that second to even finish his own pre planned sentence before the explosion came. The man was obviously jumping to a major conclusion, though there was a good reason behind it. If she had been gone as long as he stated. Her medication or anything was the reason behind it all. He merely sighed at the idiotic move the man made while moving closer. Making sure to avoid any form of traffic and to come in close enough to hear the rather hilarious remark the young lady made to the man prior to this. It made him smile a bit as he approached the now practically entrenched in seeming defeat client.

“I'm sure she just was shocked about your reaction.” He said kindly as he looked to the teen who was holding her. And bowed lightly to him. “You see, my friend her has been looking for her for sometime. It seems he mis interpreted you as a possible kidnapper or some sort of being that may cause her harm.” he stated as he tried to bring out the rather brash move of Renavin. “We have been looking for her for sometime. Where did you find her by any chance? Was she hurt?” He merely asked questions, hoping for his companion to rise up from his seeming defeat. He looked around though, seeing many people seemingly impressed or trying to ignore them. Waving to them lightly as he turned his silver gaze to the people before him once more. His face again in it's usual serious like form. “My name, is Zuisho Ryuketsu.” he stated politely as if to try to ease the situation with it. “ May I have yours?” He asked in return. Merely another formality, but it was best to know the name of possible enemies or allies in the situation...though he should have probably avoided thinking of it in such a way.

Koyoko was still processing what just occurred and would stand their staring in disbelief. It's not everyday someone tries to randomly lunge at him at full speed. Let alone by people he hasn't crossed yet. All he received from this unique experience is that this girl on his back seems to be a relay for a bunch of welcomed circumstances. She hurts her leg, wants to go to every store they walk by, is extremely dense, and managed to get some guy to attack him.

"...Seriously?" Koyoko watched as this man laid half conscious on the ground, an awkward sweat forming on his head.

"......" The woman who had accompanied them didn't seem to be all that happy about this, and gave a rather weird look to the man. Knowing of his real reputation. Is he really Necessarius' attack dog? He seemed like a fool. "...I guess I'll take my leave now! This is been enough of a laugh for me! See ya!" She made a hasty effort to leave, and Koyoko was caught a bit off guard as she jogged off, after patting Adalia's head.

"...What was that about?"

Soon a man approached, looking at him apologetically and explained the situation, bowing lightly. Koyoko only nodded over and over, accepting the new information. But was it really necessary to attack someone on sight for being with his relative? All he could really do was sigh, having to deal with another odd individual. “My name, is Zuisho Ryuketsu. May I have yours?"

"...Koyoko." He said hesitantly. "She hurt her ankle in an alley way, I was planning on taking her to the hospital, or at least a clinic, then calling her folks if she had their number." He explained, as Adalia shifted around a bit.

"Knight-kun is loyal to his princess. Thank you, knight-kun." Adalia wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged rather tightly that Koyoko can feel a rather soft sensation on his back. He blushes and freaks out a bit.

"Oi, you're squeezing too tight!" He yells in embarrassment at her sudden action, being that their are some people around watching this happen. But as he said this, Renavin's familiar red eyes glowed again in rage, sensing his Adalia being assaulted by the clearly perverted knight. He gets up with suddenly revived energy and charges back.

"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!" Renavin come's charging in sending lots of punches toward Koyoko's way.

"W-! Seriously!?" Koyoko starts to back off immediately, moving his torso and head in different directions rapidly to avoid the man's assault. Just when he thought this was going to go peacefully, this man doesn't fail to jup back into this. Though it was rather more difficult to dodge his jabs since a certain girl was still clinging to his back. He backed up too much and finally was struck in the forehead and twists behind him, colliding with someone. "GUAAAHK!"

"....etetete...." Koyoko slowly rose up, and rubbed his head a bit, Adalia somehow sitting comfortably to the side, avoiding all damage. But Koyoko was not so lucky. "Hey, sorry a-...GEH!?" His position all together could be worse, but all together it was pretty bad. His hand is cupped against this girl's left breast, his knee in between her legs, revealing her underwear, and to top it all off, her loose shirt draped over her shoulder revealing some of her bra strap. Over two dozens eyes immediately started to judge the poor boy, but Renavin seemed to be smirking, laughing slightly.

"How indecent""Mom, what is he doing?""Don't look sweetie! We're going home.""Ueeeeee?!""Right in public too." The crowd started speaking to each other.

"...You really want to die don't you?" His eyebrow twitched, seeing the lewd man already assaulting another woman, having no sense of guilt in this.

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT, YOU MORON!"

"Knight-kun...you found another princess?..Sniffle." Adalia pretended to cry, and wasn't actually hurt...probably.

"Get back to reality! And why did you say sniffle?!" Koyoko quickly tried to defend himself from the two weirdos, but gasped realizing he was still all the girl, and quickly pushed himself up and off of her, stepping back with his cheeks all red. This girl is the one he should be most worried about. What if she's a high leveled expert, or has a dad who works in a meat shop, using knives and maybe even a chainsaw!

After that display, Iori returned her attention to the line ahead of her. Whatever ‘fight’ there was seemed to be over, and she saw no reason to step in. Some people were still looking at the group behind her but she patiently waited for it to move.

Round 2. FIGHT.

"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!"

She heard the red-haired man from earlier yell out those words, and she swiveled around to see him charging at the pervert again. He was swinging his arms, sending a volley of punches towards his target. The knight was barely dodging every one as he was backing up, and as she thought if she should intervene she realized the young man was about to collide with her. ”Oi, oi! Wa-“

"GUAAAHK!"

…Unfortunately for her, she had a rather rough fall on the concrete. She was rather dizzy, but could immediately tell that something was off. "....etetete...." As the boy on top of her pushed himself up, she knew what it was. His hand was cupped around her breast, and she could feel his knee pushed between her legs. Judging from the heat of the sun on her shoulder, she was pretty sure her shirt started revealing more than it should have. "Hey, sorry a-...GEH!?" Seems he’s finally realized where his hands were.

She could feel the intense stare of the crowd. Dozens of eyes captured the sight of a pervert who was groping an innocent girl on the street in broad daylight.

Ok, she knew that’s not what happened, but she could exploit it.

"How indecent""Mom, what is he doing?""Don't look sweetie! We're going home.""Ueeeeee?!""Right in public too." At these words, she expected him to stand up and apologize. Instead he remained in the same position. Maybe he really was a pervert like she initially thought?

"...You really want to die don't you?"

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT, YOU MORON!"

"Knight-kun...you found another princess?..Sniffle."

"Get back to reality! And why did you say sniffle?!"

Finally, he stood up. He released his hand from her breasts and pushed himself off her. His face was beet-red, probably from the excitement he had from groping a woman in public. Slowly, she stood up as well, dusting herself off and grabbing her sunglasses which had fallen off during her fall. She stayed quiet for a while, letting the tension build.

“Oi oi, pervert knight,” she said as she started advancing towards her assailant.

“Do you enjoy touching women in public?” She moved closer, “You don’t even help me up after you assaulted me on the ground—not that I wanted to be touched by your dirty hands…”


“… You’re going to pay, you pervert…” She grinned.



“……With that I mean.” She said, pointing to the ice cream stand behind her. She didn't seem upset at all.
