[SS] A Certain Unexpected Incident (Incomplete)

Confronted with that impenetrable argument, Motoharu replied the only way he could think of.

He changed the subject.

"There's no use arguing who's to blame." He turned, setting his sights on the district ahead of them. "First thing's first." He sidled up beside Milo. "Have you ever been to an arcade?" He smiled knowingly. "I know a place near here."

(I think I need to give us the push to move on. )

"Don't just ignore people when they're talking to you!" Touko growled angrily, tackling Motoharu in a headlock.

"Oi, oi... There's no need to fight." Their blue haired friend tried to calm the two down, pulling back on Touko's shoulders to try and release her grip around Motoharu's neck. The dark haired girl meanwhile was busy yelling at Motoharu to take responsibility for his actions.

A short while later and their scuffle had ended in a draw. Both Touko and Motoharu sported their fair share of bruises and scrapes. Not even the third member of their group had escaped unharmed, nursing a nasty bump on his head with a pathetic groan.

"Look..." Touko panted, leaning back against a wall. "What's done is done, right? We may as well just make the most of it." She reasoned, finally resigned to her fate. "Truce?" She offered her hand towards Motoharu.

Though he fought valiantly, Motoharu could only manage a draw with Touko. He hunched over, breathing heavily. He looked up, eyeing Touko's hand warily from behind his sunglasses. There was a tense moment between them before his poker face cracked into an infectious grin.

"Now you've come around to my way of thinking."
