Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
At this point, calling Frenda’s situation ‘being up a creek without a paddle’ would have been unable to do it proper justice. She was stuck in a set of rapids that were pushing her further and further towards a waterfall.
Her fight-or-flight began to go into complete overdrive as she felt sweat permeating into her clothes and her heart beating at an unhealthy rate.
What she felt could only been described as pure fright.
“R-right.”
Her legs began to almost automatically carry her to the green table and the most optimal position to place the cue ball to hit both eight ball.
Like an automaton, she simply proceeded without thought and pushed the cue into the cue ball and aimed it back towards the six and eight ball which had been left unduly ignored in this grand fiasco.
The cue ball merely rolled few a few inches before the fuzzy table’s friction stopped it dead in its tracks.
The fearful blonde then looked back towards her boss who exuded an overwhelming presence. One could only wonder what insightful comment this girl could come up with now to push the flow of time that had seemingly stopped for her forward—what words could come out of the girl who could only be described as a young blonde automaton.
“B-basically….”
Whatever may have been watching from afar at that moment would have to search for that insight elsewhere.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
It rolled. It rolled. It rolled.
Was it good enough?
As the ball slowly creeped across the table, only to falter before meeting its aim, the demon Mugino Shizuri would prevail. What was it she was thinking right now? What was her impression of the meagre attempt at a continuation to the already over game? There was only praying. Hoping. Despairing.
With legs slow and heavy, she would approach the table, eye the result and take up the queue.
Questions here, questions there. There was nothing that told them anything. Was she happy? Was she content? Or was it annoyance she felt at the lacklustre attempt at making it?
The table was before her. She would reach for the queue stick and prepare it along with her bodily posture. What was she planning? What was she seeking? Did she embrace the next step or did she simply wish to end it for good? Or was she about to use the queue as a weapon to punish the one who had failed to deliver, teammate or not.
Silence.
Tension.
Fear.
Panic.
?!?!?!
Strike and hit.
«Oh, Frenda, if you keep messing up this much your lead will be a legend from the past in a single swipe~»
It was like bragging about having the best taste in music among a bunch of deaf; a game so absolutely unfair and pointless, there was no enjoyment, no achievement, nothing serving as its foundation. Basically she was playing against nobody anymore. Everyone except her had given up, yet she herself wouldn’t mind that. She would keep playing, sinking the balls just like she had done with the #2, ignoring the great ease that action brought with it. And as she succeeded, she would simply sway her hair behind her shoulders in utter arrogance, making the losers feel the presence of the unmatched victor.
A victor climbing on top of the bodies she had forced through utter humiliation. Like a spoiled princess did to her weak-willed parents, she was forcing ITEM to bow to her will, just to keep her satisfied.
Truthfully, playing with Mugino was no fun at all.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
They had won the game.
By all appearances, they were simply playing pool, but that was not all. Not one but two games had existed here, rules and rewards separate but still connected by the linchpin called Mugino. The rules of the second game were simple to the point of tears.
Don't die.
Don't be killed.
That was all. Methods and boundaries, all those things were pointless. The reward for winning was life, and the consequence for losing was death. In the face of that, who would be crazy enough to create additional restrictions?
...
Turning her eyes away from a certain someone, Saiai positioned her cue stick in silence. Even if they had achieved victory in the Mugino Game, the pool table still awaited them. It was a strike without any hint of vitality, but fear of a second round lent it unerring strength and precision. Like that of a zombie, or perhaps an automata.
From its position at the center of the table, the six ball left the stage without incident. And with that, this game was now all but over. All that remained for both sides was to sink the eight ball, but neither Frenda nor Rikou would toss aside their hard-earned victory. No words were needed to convey this; it was simply known by all. And with that it would soon once again be Mugino's turn, and they would be freed at last.
Now, what did this mean?
That salvation was upon them. That the ceaselessly approaching juggernaut had at long last been put to rest, and the future waited upon them once more. From the murky depths of despair had come new hope, resulting from none other than their desperate efforts. Truly, it was a scene worth crying over.
But somehow, there was no life in Saiai's eyes...

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Much like her short-haired comrade, Frenda’s actions became almost lifeless. She could hardly even react to Mugino’s little taunt with more than a single grunt to prove she was listening. It was hardly her turn, but she had to alert the one who’s turn it was.
Her body slowly moved over to the now fast-asleep Takitsubo in an almost discrete motion, as if her body was no longer moving naturally but was being controlled by an ethereal puppeteer.
With those jerky movements, she rubbed her hand on Takitsubo’s shoulder.
“Wake up, Takitsubo. It’s your turn.”
Her words came out short and simple, without even a hint of her usual Frenda-ness. One could only wonder what synapses were firing in her brain to shut that all down.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
“--subo. It’s your turn.” The sudden interruption to her wonderful nap was met with some annoyance. Though it was very hard to tell if that was true or not as she had that same tired expression.
"Hmm? ... Right.." But now woken from her slumber, she had missed some crucial details about recent turns. And so without thinking, she eyed the eight ball on the table and saw this as an easy win. She didn't think about asking Frenda how she managed to turn things around but was grateful for her effort.
And so without thinking about the possible consequences or even being aware of the current mood, Takitsubou tapped the white ball carefully and immediately walked away yawning. She didn't need to even wait and watch since compared to her past shots this was like doing it blindly. And as the white ball hit the 8 ball into a corner pocket without trouble, the beautiful girl in pink tracksuit went to find somewhere more comfortable to rest.
Clearly not realising what she had done having missed the drama while being asleep.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
And thus, the game was over.
An eerie silence would spread across the entire room, eating it up whole. Oblivious to the meaning of her actions, Takitsubo had sunk the final ball, wasting away all effort to prevent inevitable disaster.
She had done it. She had brought it upon them.
Something had snapped within Mugino Shizuri.
Knowing her of course could help predicting this turn of events, but even then that would never enable anyone to predict the exact outcome. Like with a volcano, none would truly know where things were headed next...all that was certain was that escaping was impossible.
And just like a volcano she would explode the very next moment, unleashing the mindless violence she embodied.
With the ringing of imaginary alarm bells, suddenly the destruction would descend upon the plain land that was the billiards table, easily eating through it, consuming it, burning it. Its citizens, the remaining ball on top and the ones in its belly, desperately fleeing like panicky crowds, only to find themselves consumed as well.
It was the end of everything. But did she stop at it?
Just like her Meltdowner would not be stopped from eating beyond the frail table, the spread of violence wasn’t bound to be contained with just a simple execution. She was raging. And when she was, she was out of control entirely.
Like the Kaiju Godzilla she would move beyond a ruined Tokyo Bay, continuing her advance deeper into the main land.
With the table now being sliced apart, its remain slowly burning to a pile of ash and deep holes cut into the floor, her gaze would shift. Shift towards what else remained. No lifeless objects, but humans. The forsaking instruments of the game had been ruined, yet what about the treacherous participants?
«Freeeennnnndaaaaaaaaaaaa.»
A cry straight from the nightmares.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
The final clacks of the balls as they fell into their respective holes functioned as the death knell that finally rang—both for the game and for Frenda. Contrary to the paradigm of the victor’s dominance held by people, what would unfold reverse that common sense.
She could hardly tell what was about to happen, but her brain was screaming at her to move. But her muscles refused to move.
Fear can supposedly act as the greatest motivator for escape. But too much of that would shut down all semblance of survival instinct in a detrimental way. No matter how much she wanted to move, Frenda was locked down by her own self.
After all, challenging the demon standing before her was merely an act in futility. Such was obvious the moment the table was sliced in half.
«Freeeennnnndaaaaaaaaaaaa.»
All that was left was for Mugino to direct her inscrutable rage at her next target—signaled by the cry of a fallen angel consumed by misdirected vengeance.
Or at least, that’s what it would seem at first glance.
But a possible avenue for salvation came in the form of four simultaneously ringing phones, each coming from the four girls’ pockets.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Like a fire alarm triggered by the pitch black burned food in an amateur cook’s frying pan, Mugino’s phone would ring, forming destiny’s attempt to somehow a certain pair of Frenda’s limbs.
Of course Mugino would stop in her tracks unhesitatingly, pick up the phone of her own and bring it to her ear, ready to welcome whatever would come up next.
She knew the caller ID, of course. Or rather, she knew that there would only be one source for calls this perfectly timed: Work was up once again. And work in this case meant obligations she wouldn’t be able to push away or dodge. Much rather it was the unescapable kind, carved into her being, if she wanted to or not.
However, if destiny thought that was all it would take to stop her from going through with the traitor’s execution, it was entirely wrong.
«I’m busy. Try again later, you old hag.»
With just that nonchalant comment, like shoving off an annoying parent, she simply hung up right there.
And with that off the table, she monstrous shadow of the kaiju would once again linger above Frenda bay, drawing ever closer by the seconds, its menacing steps shaking the room like tiny earth quakes.
There was no escaping this hell.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
It was only after winning the game for her team that Takitsubo Rikou had realised what she had done. She had missed entirely the steps that had to lead up to this reaction, and now the anger of Mugino had made sure she was paying attention. She felt terrible, not only that it had seemed Frenda was taking the brunt but seemingly done the same to Mugino without realising.
Though she couldn't ignore, she felt frightened for her own life, though after that phone call which was promptly ended by the Meltdowner. Rikou thought it was time to take responsibility and to remind her the possible consequence of her putting that phone down on a potentially lucrative job.
Bowing her head with that same apathetic look, she finally spoke up.
"Mugino are you sure that's wise? If we don't call back now, we may lose a possible lucrative job to another group? she said thinking for a moment she might have gotten the order mixed up. "Sorry.. Mugino. It was my fault, and I didn't consider your feelings." Takitsubo was still working on half the information for missing the lead up to the final turn. Remaining with her head bowed, she attempted to sound apologetic but still spoke in that same monotone voice.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Standing off to the side during the entire exchange with unchanging dead eyes, Kinuhata Saiai had observed everything since Takitsubo’s victory without giving any response. Without any signs of life, even; looking at her, one might question if she really was still alive or if she was just a corpse which had already entered rigor mortis. Staying like that until the storm passed, off to the side unnoticed, was truly the best path.
Hearing Takitsubo, the perpetrator of their current and latest crisis, one might attempt to reign Mugino might inspire some others to sabotage her attempt so as to give her her just desserts. But that way lies death. Mugino was not so kind a beast as to meekly be redirected.
Seeing Frenda cower in fear, the perfect scapegoat for this situation, one might attempt to further shove her down in order to ensure that she truly did take the bulk of the damage. But that way lies death. Mugino was not so kind a beast to meekly be led on.
Only the path of uninvolvement had potential for life. And even then, Mugino was not so kind a beast to display mercy; death may still lie in wait.
“It’s fine, Takitsubo. I’ll handle it.”
Saiai spoke, and the faint but unmistakable glimmer of life returned to her eyes as she answered her phone, having seen and expected Mugino’s response to the call. To survive, she must remain uninvolved with the ongoing education. But inaction would only increase the chances of being dragged into it, and fleeing would only bring attention to her. For the purpose of raising her chances of survival to the maximum, the optimal choice was to involve herself with someone else, creating the situation of ‘two third parties speaking to each other in the vicinity of an execution’. Given success, the most damage she might suffer was blood splatter, and even in the worst case, she may eke out a few extra moments of continued existence.
So she dutifully took the call for Mugino, who was preoccupied with more important things at the moment. In doing so Mugino would be free to devote her full attention to the job at hand without having to devote even an iota of grey matter to external matters. Yes, Saiai was ever so helpful.
“Hello? As you’ve heard, Mugino is super busy right now, so I’ll be answering in her stead.”

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
It wasn’t like there was a snowball’s chance in hell that they’d listen and become more compliant in the future. No, sirree.
She could have hoped for Takitsubo to be the one to pick up after Mugino had rudely hung up on her, but Kinuhata was hardly the worst choice.
“Can you try to get that girl to stop making such an ass of herself for a bit? I’m already aware that she hung up on me immediately.”
Despite her prior resolve to hold in her stress for later, it was fairly obvious that there was definitely lingering resentment she could hardly keep contained.
“If nothing else works, tell her she has an opportunity to clear out a perfect victory and relieve some stress while she’s at it. I have a job for you all. The faster we get this all over with, the faster we can move on with our damn lives.”
In the background of it all, Frenda could no longer do anything but stand like a deer caught in the headlights as the invincible predator walked to her, much like a classical movie zombie. As each step sent shockwaves that only she as the prey could perceive, Frenda clutched at her beret and tears began to gather in the corners of her eyes.
In the end, there was only one fate left for her.
Perhaps it was time for her to keel over and accept it. Or perhaps she could hope that some gallant figure would come in and delay the inevitable punishment.
Nah. That’d never happen.

“Can you try to get that girl to stop making such an ass of herself for a bit? I’m already aware that she hung up on me immediately.”
"Would you like to come down here and super do it yourself?"
Talk was easy when you were hiding in some untraceable bunker far away from any threat of retaliation. But walking that talk was somewhat of a different matter when you were actually in the field, and it was a rare mercenary indeed that would willingly go to their death just because you asked kindly.
That is to say, missus 'enigmatic voice on the phone' would do well to consider what she was asking before getting all pissy. Which, of course, meant that her 'if nothing else works' option was in fact the first and only one to be considered, not the last. If you're so far gone as to be in a situation where you need to deal with Mugino, methods of last resort are the methods you have left.
So Saiai looked to Mugino and considered her options. She could attempt this method of last resort; it was, after all, a request for her employer. However, if it were to fail to catch Mugino's attention, then Saiai would be no better than a hare with a noose around its neck.
Yes, thinking a bit about it, there was only really one option that made sense.
"Either talk to me, or super wait for Frenda with the rest of us."
She gave her ultimatum, took the phone from her ear, and immediately moved to end the call. After all, despite what Saiai had said, she'd never thought for an instant that the voice would take option number one, given how it'd tried to have Saiai hand the phone off.
An ultimatum with only one option is super good enough for you.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
It truly was always the same with these girls. No matter how much she dealt with them, their attitudes and senses of self-importance were far off the charts in terms of what they should have been. Perhaps it was the obvious consequence of having to deal with hormanally-charged teenagers who were pumped up with numerous drugs to do the dirty work.
Regardless of the case, Kinuhata Saiai’s ultimatum was a pain in the ass. Things needed to get done so little obstacles that got in the way of getting her job as a middleman done were unwelcome.
“I swear, why can’t there ever be a normal event around you?”
She gave a deep sigh. At the very least, Kinuhata wasn’t the worst...definitely the bottom of the pack in terms of who she liked dealing with in these terms though the gap between first place Takitsubo and three who always were clamoring for second place was vast.
At this point, foisting the middleman duties onto Kinuhata may have been the best possible option. The less she had to deal with Mugino, the better.
“It’ll be a by-the-books search and kill job. We’ve been hired by some labs to take out some industrial spies who stole some sensitive data from an old project. What was it, Downcast—”
Before she could continue any further, some high pitched sound began to grow louder and louder until she heard a thud.
“HELP ME, KINUHATAAAAAAAA!!”
Apparently, the Swedish girl had found some opening to run the hell away from Mugino before crashing into Kinuhata. But, it seems danger had likely not passed.
“Seriously! What the hell is going on over there?!?”

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
“HELP ME, KINUHATAAAAAAAA!!”
Were it anyone else, the collision with Frenda would have sent her tumbling to the floor, lets splayed. But this was Kinuhata Saiai, Level 4 Offense Armor. Such a halfhearted assault could be brushed off like the buzzing of an irritating fly. If anyone were to be splayed on the floor, it would surely be Frenda.
But even still, it signified something terrifying.
When Mugino's gaze followed Frenda's path, Saia's figure would inevitably enter it. Unconsciously, her grip on the phone tightened, but she knew better than to release her strength there. Not when there was a much better target to release her frustration upon.
With an emotionless smile, Saiai calmly gripped Frenda's head with her free hand and squeezed. And squeezed. And squeezed. And squeezed. She squeezed until it seemed like she might crack Frenda's skull or squeeze her brains out through her ears. And try as she might to find release, Offense Armor would stand unmoved.
"Don't go off-topic. A search and kill job for some industrial spies, you were saying? Stole data from a project called Downcast... What now?"
Maintaining her position like Frenda were not there at all, Saiai spoke as to convey the details to the request to Mugino. Now that Frenda had managed to drag her into this, her only hope was to interest Mugino in this job of theirs. For that reason, she made to drag out the relevant information without delay.
But even though this would indeed save Frenda, as she'd requested, not a shred of mercy existed in Saiai's heart. At a later date, this favor would be fully returned.
And the stress relief she was taking care of at present didn't count for much at all.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
To every splatter movie there was a violent killer running around with some overly gruesome weapon. In some you had axes, in others hooks and the funky ones had the good old chain saw. However, this particular killer had a weapon far more brutal than any of those: The well-manicured finger nails of a high-class beauty.
Once artificial long nails would dig into one’s flesh, let’s say at the lower leg, they would become worse than any needle or knife. Like tiny dull spears they would dig into the matter, not leaving the sharp feeling of a clean cut, but the burning hell of flesh being torn at random locations.
«Freeeeeeeee~ndaaaaa~~!»
Such was the sensation the blonde would experience that very moment, as the sugar sweet violence hungry voice would dig into her ears.
While from one end she would face the immense pressure of a giant’s grip, from the other she would meet the bite of those accursed finger nails, turned lethal weapons.
And truly, it was entirely enjoyable for at least one of the three sides in this. Hell had these kinds of spoils, at least by someone’s book. Mugino Shizuri for her part grinned like a hyena, as she sat there on the floor, entirely ladylike, savouring the agony driven squeaks of her absolutely defenceless victim, all the while seeking the top spot in a new kind of competition. An entirely sadistic kind of such.
Now, who would win?
Kinuhata?
Mugino?
Or death?
Surely it wasn’t the woman on the phone~

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Frankly, having the dynamic of the conversation being driven by the other person did not suit the woman on the phone. It was a coarse, rough, and unpleasant feeling. But, at this point, she knew that it was inevitable for this group of rebellious teenagers.
“Ah. So, that’s why they decided to pick you for this. Your job will be to kill a number of industrial spies who stole some information regarding the Dark May project.” She had no ability to predict what Kinuhata’s reaction would be but at this point, it didn’t matter.
What needed to be done needed to be done. Whatever was going on regarding the rest of the group jus needed to be ignored for now. Be it Mugino’s war cries or Frenda’s pathetic cry for help, it was all meaningless in the end.
“We have no need to take them in. Just kill them and destroy the data that they took. Their corpses will be dealt with afterwards if you don’t end up vaporizing them.”
The woman took a short pause to recollect her thoughts and make sure she didn’t miss any important information. “I’ll send you the data for their whereabouts and their escape route once you accept it the job.”
The woman simply sighed one more time. “It’s always the same with you.”

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
It truly must have been a scene straight out of horror flick for the blonde haired girl as her head was used as a stress ball and the the flesh from her leg was mercilessly torn off. Unfortunately for Frenda, Saiai had no intention of competing with the clawed demon that could easily be mistaken as the incarnation of death itself.
So without changing her expression she released the girl’s head and surrendered her to Mugino. There was no telling what fate awaited the blonde girl now but it definitely wasn’t going to be pleasant. For now though she hoped that sacrificing Frenda would keep the attention off her while she continued with the call. Hopefully the woman on the other side of the phone had a mission interesting enough to distract the Meltdowner from destroying them.

The Dark May project. It was strange hearing that name again but there was something far more important to Saiai’s survival contained within the woman’s words. They now had a possible scapegoat. Now she just need to choose whether to let Frenda’s suffering continue or attempt redirecting Mugino’s wrath. Ultimately she decided to leave the poor girl in the devil’s grasp for a few moments before finally opening her mouth.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
A gunshot. The loud shout. A tremendous impact. A flag being swung. Or a hot girl dropping her panties onto the street. A starting signal could be anything. In this case it had simply been six words.
«Want to super murder some spies?»
And with that everything was over. Her rage. Her bloodlust. The deathly claws of the demon. Just as these words had been spoken, those things had come to an abrupt end, like someone pressing the switch on the TV remote. Mugino simply returned back to the two of her legs, her expression stern and cold as ever. Carefully brushing off the dirt from her designer dress, she’d simply step away, not minding to waste even a single glance towards – half-dead yet somehow still alive – Frenda.
«Let’s hope they’re at least somewhat worthwhile.»
The #4 was bored as ever as she spoke, not paying heed towards hiding her low expectations for the job. But that was how things were. Spies simply weren’t the fun kind. Surely, they would be somewhat persistent, yet for the wrong reasons. Being slippery didn’t equal being somewhat of a challenge, after all.
And with that the girl that was only born to become a harbinger of death and destruction would step forwards, hoping to bring exactly that over some lowlife people. Not because they deserved it. Not because she would get a good payment. But because she saw it as a way to vent off the frustrations of such a puny thing as a billiards match gone wrong.
«Oh, and Frenda: Make sure to survive. So we can continue where we left off.»

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
How long had she remained in the bowed posture? She hadn't counted the many minutes, but when Kinuhata had told her she would handle it she slumped to her knees and observed the result. She felt somewhat dismayed by the apparent struggle for survival between Kinuhata and Frenda against Mugino. Though it seemed out of them all, she had completely gone under the radar despite being the one who sparked the crises by winning the pool game.
It was a simple survival tactic that came naturally due to her demeanour. So it was in her best interests to keep the subject focused on the new job. Though the mention of killing others wasn't something, she exactly enjoyed.
It was a job though, and she could use the money from it for a useful purpose.
"There is this new shop which sells some cake, maybe we could go there to try them after the job? It would be my treat." she suggested with her same sluggish demeanour and yet her actions was one of selflessness and kindness as not only she was trying to encourage them, but also try to spare Frenda some future pain.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Postponed.
A feeling of relief washed over Frenda. She was far too used to the postponement of punishments for such a thing to end up troubling her. After all, postponement meant her life was...less likely to be in forfeit and given how she was alive to this very day, the odds were good, even if the goods were odd.
Frenda breathed a sigh of relief and simply nodded along to Mugino’s order to survive.
With Takitsubo’s own offer of reconciliation in the form of cake to close it off, it seemed that the atmosphere had finally returned to a more temperate status.
“I’ll take you up on that Takitsubo.”
Well, as far as could be perceived, anyway.
“The regular transport is heading over to your location. You can ask anymore questions when you get there.”
Having relayed all she needed to, the annoyed middlewoman hung up. She could only hope that the briefing files she would provide would be enough for the girls to not bother her any further.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Between the Lines
knock...knock...knock...
The sound echoed throughout the empty apartment.
knock...knock...knock...
"Stop that, you would wake the neighbours." spoke a male voice from outside the door, girlish laughter followed it as the man continued. "You must be drunk." the girl laughed again as the door was being unlocked by the man "Sorry, Sorry; thought you were inside already." the girl spoke who stumbled through the door as she was let in by the man. She was a cool beauty, with long black hair and hazel brown eyes she was dressed in a black sailor uniform with a red trim and knot tie. Though for the man what was more important for him was her slender legs and what her perfectly curved bust.
It is evident from what this seemingly average looking guy that he was interested in the typical things and couldn't believe his luck that he landed this beauty. It wasn't the first time they, this was probably the third time they had been out but was the first time he managed to bring her back to the apartment.
"Ohh, so this is your apartment?" she spoke as looked around the apartment without permission. The man didn't mind at all as he locked the door after him as he walked in. The apartment was very modern looking, but nothing stood out except maybe the large computer set up in the corner. "You know this isn't what I expected." the girl spoke near the bedroom, and he didn't precisely understand what she meat by it as he followed her voice into the apartment.
When he turned into the bedroom after following the trail of things being moved and drawers being slightly left opened, there she was standing near the bed while holding an adult magazine. His face turned red as he realised what she was reading who in turn looked at him with a cheeky smile. "I thought you were the type of guy who would have those anime character posters everywhere. Hmm; At least I was right that you would hide these sort of materials underneath the mattress. You do realise that is where every girl looks first right?" she said as she drops the magazine on the bed before turning towards him. She could tell he was nervous and was blushing hard just from being in his bedroom.
As she approached the man attempted to explain what she has seen and yet he could mumble his response as her approach turned seductive the moment she untied her knot. Her top was now loose revealing her cleavage as she comes onto him up close. Speechless and taken back she would be the one to speak first.
"You seem to enjoy dominating your women according to that, though just a warning I like to be..."she said as she then whispered in his ear. "..the rough one." A sudden swish in the air was followed by pressure in the man's leg as he slowly looked down to see a knife sticking out his leg. The surprise left him in shock as he looked up to the girl who now had a cruel smile.
"Hello Radio-sama!" there were no words to describe the sudden contrast in her voice and the look in her eyes. She was no longer a seductive mistress but more akin to a black widow.
He tried to speak, but the girl only twisted the knife slightly in his leg. Grinding his teeth in pain, the girl seemed to have him pinned against the wall.
"Shhhh just do what I say, and I will not leave you a bleeding mess on the floor." she spoke as the man barely managed to nod among the fear he was feeling. Seeing this the girl pulled out a small note that was tucked into her cleavage. She would then reveal to the guy that it was series of numbers.
"It took me a long time to gather this information and while you're no Goalkeeper you should do fine. Why don't you sit over at your computer set up over there and intercept any messages passed on those lines? Then maybe I may not leave you a bloody mess." she threatens as she lets go of the knife and back away enough for him to move.
He looked at her wearily and noticed she had her hand on more knives strapped to her side. She wasn't kidding around, and there was no sense of remorse in her body language at all. Though for him this wouldn't be the first time he was forced to commit some illegal intercepts.
The attempt to track anyone with a high profile and connections within the city underworld was almost impossible. More often then not the darkness would consume anyone once they started to poke around for information. Though many hours later the black window that prayed on the guy known as Radio-Sama had finally paid off.
After numerous exchanges and one side being hunged up on, she had learned what she had needed.
"Some information about The Dark May project?" the girl spoke thinking what she knew about it. Though before she came to any conclusion, she looked towards the one known as Radio-sama and leaned in for a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you. You just helped me find a needle in the haystack." she spoke with a smile as she caresses him while moving behind where he sat to whisper in his ear.
"Now what to do with you?"

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Chapter 2
The Turbulent Position of the Hunter. Dual_Carol.
“We’ve hit the second checkpoint.” A scruffy man in a suit spoke, standing against a wall, right next to a wide window. As he looked out, he saw, from 40 stories up, nothing more than barren streets, fitting of the industrial night life of Academy City. In that silent night, not a single thing lingered in this darkened portion of Academy City’s nightscape.
“Any indication of pursuers?” he asked over a walkie-talkie after a pause to look at the surroundings.
“None from Building B. We have no indication that our frequency was tracked either.” A soft, feminine voice spoke through the transmitter.
“None from Building C.”
“Clear from Building D.”
The rest of them, another woman and man, replied in succession, clearing their suspicions from each of their respective checkpoints. They stood at four corners on large complex of four buildings, each connected to the others via multiple walkways. It was an odd design, no doubt, for a set of buildings, but there was likely some method to the madness of the architecture.
“Then we’ll move to the final checkpoint and make the exchange. We have an hour and a half before the client’s deadline.” The man rubbed the tips of his fingers on the handle of the gun in his chest holster and took a deep breath, letting his rapid breathing slow down.
The four of them were industrial spies. It was odd for them to have a client, but in this case, the higher ups decided that said client would be useful to work with so a mutually beneficial relationship formed as both groups sought out use of the data that they had stolen.
You scratch my back and I’ll scratch your back.
That was the philosophy behind it all, anyway.
“Let’s get moving.”
The penultimate phase of their actions was about to commence.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Academy City was, as the name suggested, a city of students. In the height of summer, the city's streets were inundated with the youth, the youth, and nothing but the youth. Boys and girls from all-boys and all-girls schools mingling. Flashes of skin in attempts to escape the heat. Meet-ups at family restaurants. Despair over summer homework.
Carefree joy, the passion of the young.
Even cities as abnormal as Academy City, however, could not function with nothing but students. Even in Academy City, structures like this one could be seen.
A four-part office complex, dark, dreary, and ordinary. It hosted no school, no extracurricular program, and no hint of youth. The dress code was strict in its simplicity: neckties and suits, dress shoes and formal wear. Not a man or woman to be seen was under thirty.
People walked quickly by, rushing to meetings and appointments. They talked in hushed tones into their phones, appeasing some superior or customer. They carried briefcases instead of backpacks. For all that it was a hub of activity, it was altogether too quiet, subdued.
It was, simply, a place for work to be done and nothing else.
The obedient worker bees would never challenge it. They listened to their superiors, their superiors listened to theirs. No sort of revolution would ever come from within. And so it had to come from without.
Four girls, far younger than any of the complex's salarywomen, strode towards the front desk after entering directly from the building's main entrance. With their entrance, they lowered the age average of the complex's population. They also boosted the percentage of skin on display; hardly a difficult matter, considering the conservative code of dress.
One walked ahead of all the others, every step oozing a domineering confidence. And far beyond just domineering was her outfit: none other than that of a professional dominatrix, whip and all. Just the expression on her face was enough to make a man blush; she was clearly born for the role.
Beside and slightly behind her was a high school girl, black-haired, with a blank, unreadable expression that ruined any appeal from her otherwise good looks. Contrary to her companion's salacious attire, she wore a full trenchcoat that covered even more of her body than the salarywomens' attire did. However, it clung to her body oddly tightly, and what it revealed was more than enough to make men gulp.
Next in line was a young girl of roughly twelve. With her face, it was clear she would be a beauty someday, for the moment she was out of the strike zone of most present. As she walked she glanced continuously around the building, equal parts curiosity and apprehension seemingly present. What she wore could hardly be called clothing; calling them rags would be far more appropriate. A dirty over-sized t-shirt and too-small pants, it was clear that she wore whatever it was she could find. Obviously the product of a rough life, it made one wonder what she was doing here, amidst the others.
Trailing behind them all, slightly behind, was a young girl who stood out not just for her attire. With blonde hair that was clearly not dyed, a foreigner was a sight that would draw eyes anywhere in Japan even without her dress. But clad in nothing but a sheer microbikini that barely covered the important parts and clearly embarrassed about the whole situation, it made a man's imagination go wild.
The group's appearance generated questions, ones to which every worker in the building wanted answers. But as they watched on with bated breath waiting for someone to do something, the four girls arrived at the front desk and the born dominatrix spoke.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Talk about doing anything for your job. There were people who would take overtime hours on top of overtime hours, others would sacrifice their vacation and some would even abandon their children for the most important of decades. But this, was quite a different kind of extreme. For this very job Mugino Shizuri would find herself clad into what was easily associated with someone who’d sell their body. A tight full leather attire made up of a corset that’d thin her sides while adding great emphasis to her already large chest portion, naturally revealing more of its flesh than was healthy, and a swimsuit’s lower portion from which straps – a clear sign of her choice of underwear – would reach towards translucent embroidered stockings which on the other hand would reach into long high heeled leather boots. All black, all tight, all way too erotic for any casual occasion. And putting a cherry on top of it all, she would hold onto a short taste- yet also clearly painful whip.
This, she would wear with what was the most casual behaviour to any person applicable. In fact, it suited her so well, it could have very well been her everyday choice of clothing.
«Tell him that his guests have arrived.»
The only words necessary to trigger the right flags.
Naturally, even her direct manner of speech would underline that very fact. And, whether intentional or not, the plain sight of her chest as she leaned across the counter to greet the lobby attendant would serve to bring her bid across in either one way or the other. Temptation or condemnation, choose one.

Re: [SS] Chasse au Lapin
Out of them all, Takitsubo Rikou didn't think much about the overall plan for this mission and neither about the supposed attire. Takitsubo actually looked like someone who was out of those old black and white movies, the ones where a person in a long trench coat stood in the alleyway and then would either be a hitman to end the onlooker's life or was actually just trying to sell something.
Of course, the difference here was she didn't have the staple hat that goes with it. In fact, she actually didn't have much else, from the onlookers perspective she wore nothing else but the trench coat.
Not even shoes or socks.
It was a question whether or not she was wearing anything beneath the trenchcoat. It was a mystery even to her fellow ITEM members.
It was a question of Schrödinger's cat or in this case Schrödinger's Underwear.
"Isn't it a bit chilly here?" Takitsubo asked with a sluggish expression as she started to learn on the front desk.
Maybe or maybe exposing all to the careful eye.
