APPEARANCE: With an enticing stare and a stunning figure, Ayako Kuroda is a young high school student with pale skin and hazel coloured eyes. Usually wearing a thin layer of make-up to accentuate her beauty, she usually keeps her flowing blonde hair tied-up in a single ponytail in order to stick with the proper dressed-code of the Academy. Usually seen in her standard school uniform. A set composed by black hard-leather shoes with a rubberized heal, a pair of knee-high white socks with the Academy’s emblem stitched on the side and a light blue skirt with a simple horizontal deep blue line across it. The top half of her uniform seems to be composed by a plain white, long-sleeve shirt, a navy blue, V-shaped vest with a couple of golden accents along the edges and a luxurious black silk ribbon right in the middle of her chest. In terms of accessories, Ayako is quite discrete and carries nothing more than a simple pink bracelet that resembles a watch and matches the pink scrunchie she uses to tie her hair.

Many claim that assertiveness is the mark of a leader and Ayako sure takes that saying to heart. She isn't afraid to fight for what she wants and has no problems making sure that anyone that gets in her way quickly regrets it. Ayako is capable of convincing someone that the moon is made of cheese and they would accept her words as if it was an absolute fact

Under the cute facade of the hard-working high school student who serves as a symbol for those who look up to her, lays a rather toxic person. Possessing a "Chaotic-Neutral" type of mentality, Ayako is the type of person who would pull some strings behind the scenes just to get some amusement. While she hides this part of her really well, some people can see right through her games.

As a student of the Private Shidarezakura Academy, Ayako knows that etiquette is one of the strongest weapons at her disposal. Each word she uses is deliberated chosen in order to assure a specific outcome from any conversation, with a warm smile and a soft-spoken word, she has learned how to manipulate people into doing what she wants to the point where it’s scary how good she actually is.

Probably the best way to describe Ayako as a whole. She is the type of person who won't accept anything short of perfection in her daily life. From the friends she keeps around her, the clothes she wears, what she eats and even to the exams she partakes in, everything she does is carefully picked and managed to an unhealthy degree in order to assure the best possible outcome.

Despite her actions, Ayako makes sure to keep both feet firmly placed in reality. The reason why she tends to succeed as often as she does, its because she knows the odds, despite being the type of girl who loves to push boundaries and sell herself as someone greater than who she actually is, even someone like Ayako is well-aware that even her can't do it all by herself.

STRENGTHS:
—Ingenuity: Due to being born with great cognitive abilities, Ayako likes to push herself into thinking outside of the box. Living in a society where results are the only thing that matters, she is well aware that there's more than one way to achieve a goal and without a doubt, more than one way to solve a problem. Choosing to tackle most situations by using the greatest endowment available to humankind, the wonderful endowment of creativity, with enough time and resources, Ayako can pretty much find a way to solve almost any challenge that happens to appear in front of her.

— Rapid Thought Process: Maybe it's a side-effect of her electrical-based Esper abilities or maybe just a pair of good genes that were passed down by her parents, but ever since Ayako was a little girl, she has shown to not only possess heightened reflexes but also sharper than average reasoning skills. She jokingly refers to this trait as "if her mind was overclocked since birth" since this allows her to process information at a higher pace that what would be considered normal such as performing complex calculations or even come up with intricate answers in a much shorter time than the average human.

—Unshakeable: There's not a lot of things in this strange world that can scare her, if you don't count petty circumstances such as being caught off guard or aspects that directly interact with her flight-or-flight response, it's safe to assume that Ayako has what many people would refer to as nerves of steel. A rather impressive ability that allows her to remain calm when faced with a dangerous scenario or an overall difficult situation. This however, isn't an ability that is restricted specifically to her and many people seem to develop this skill during their lives, with Ayako being no exception.

WEAKNESSES:
— Egotistic: It's no secret that Ayako is extremely proud of both her heritage and her accomplishments, causing her to traverse a fine line between arrogance and megalomania. While she is quite skilled at manipulating others to do her bidding by nothing more than a few words and a quick judgement of character, Ayako also finds herself being tricked into odd or questionable situations when she feels like either her pride or her reputation are on the line. Despite recognising it as one of her biggest flaws, she also admits that changing that part of her would change who she really was.

— Emotionally Charged: A common trait among electromasters, when their emotions fly out of control, so does every electrical device in a specific radius. Funny enough, this is one of the reasons why Ayako doesn't bother carrying her phone around since every time she freaks out all electrical devices on her person tend to short circuit and completely cease to function. This has happened to many times that Ayako intentionally tries to keep calm and collected. The last time she lost the grip on her emotions, her powers got out-of-hand and backfired granting her the nickname "Nimbus", a reference to the Cumulonimbus clouds.

— Physically Inept: Just like many Espers who rely on their abilities to complement their daily routines, Ayako never invested too much into her physical condition. Being a big advocate of the "Brains over Brawn" mentality, she never saw much of a reason to train her body since Academy City was designed to be the peak of human evolution, a place where technology would drive manor-labour into a thing of the past. While not being completely frail in any way, shape or form, Ayako has stated to have below average endurance, a reason why PE grade is the lowest of all her grades.

HISTORY: As the daughter of a well-known businessman, one of four the chairmen that own a certain insurance company established in Academy City, Ayako has been involved with the City of School almost all her entire life. Being integrated in the Power Curriculum Program at the age of three, this was nothing more than a power-play from her father as an attempt to establish some roots in Academy City, not being a regular resident and therefore not a suitable investor, this happened to be the best way to show some resolve for the project since there's no bigger proof of loyalty than tossing your own flesh and blood in your investments. Funny enough, this happened to be one of the happiest moments in Ayako's life. Due to her father's constant absence due to important business tripss and finding no comfort in her own mother due to her habits of going out in order to spend enough money to fill the shallow hole in her marriage, either by purchasing expensive jewelry or extravagant clothing, this usually led Ayako to be dumped into the care of some sort of nanny or hired caretaker to pass the time.

Once she was enrolled in the Program, Ayako found herself seeking praise and attention from the same people that treated her as some sort of guinea pig, in some twisted way, all those people in lab-coats, the doctors, nurses, physicians and physics turned out to be the family that she didn't know she wanted and after a couple of minds, she came to the realization that she was okay with it. As time passed and Ayako progressed in both age and overall abilities, she quickly gained some notoriety since the wealthy lifestyle of her parents meant that she would always be enrolled in the best private schools with the best things money could offer. Her Esper abilities manifested in Elementary school as a tantrum caused a small power-outage and one of the older generators to blow up, this event led her to gain the nickname of "princess" from her peers due to her spoiled nature and possessions. Despite being meant as an insult, Ayako embraced this tittle as a symbol of pride and even took it a step farther to guarantee she was able to enforce its status in her daily routines, it was at this point that Ayako made an active effort to connect with her father in hopes of gaining the same level of respect that he had, from wearing expensive clothes and doing her very best to excel in everything she did, Ayako Kuroda aimed to be the living definition of perfection.

While most assumed, she lived the easy life, being gifted everything in the realms of wealth, prowess and knowledge, in reality Ayako struggled to maintain the facade. Most of her choices were no longer her own since they had the sole purpose of bestowing the best possible image in the eyes of society, this pleased her father immensely since he could show his daughter off as if she was trophy and in a way use her to further improve his image as the powerful businessman with the perfect family and perfect daughter. Now at the beautiful age of fifteen, Ayako was enrolled in the Private Shidarezakura Academy to continue to her studies, her new goal is to farther continue her reign of success and constant achievements. With her eyes set on the prize, Ayako plans to be at the top of her class in terms of grades and overall reputation, while hopefully advance in the Power Curriculum Program, all this while still planning to become this year's student council president at all cost.

(Nimbus): An ability named as a reference to natural occurring phenomenon known as cumulonimbus cloud, a type of cloud normally associated with the production of lightning during thunderstorms. Considered a standard rendition of the standard electromaster archetype, Nimbus is characterized by the ability to generate and manipulate electrical currents, most of them expressed by the emission of lilac-tinted lightning bolts. The main thing that differs this ability from many others, is the fact that most of the roadblocks found in the development of this skill are linked to the natural restrictions imposed by the brain onto the human body in order to prevent harm due to overexertion. These restrictions appear to be translated in increments of twenty percent, while each one seems to double the user’s overall power (both in maximum voltage and reach), they seem to be unlocked under specific situations, some as the result of a need and others by simply forcing the body through sheer practice.

• The first increment, considered the standard and basis of this ability (normally situated at around 20%), allows the user to produce an electrical current up to 12,500 volts and if necessary, project them at a maximum distance of 5 meters. During this phase, the user can perform basic feats such as interact with electronic devices (charge them or read their data) or identify sources of electromagnetic radiation within the 5 meters reach.

• The second increment corresponds to 40% capacity, allowing the user to generate magnetic forces capable of moving around up to 5 objects with a combined weight of 100 Kg. The simpler way to achieve this level of power is by engaging in any sort of activities that would increase the amount of adrenaline in the body, such as exercise. At this point the maximum voltage can reach an output equal to 25,000 Volts and reach increases to 10 meters.

• The third increment caps at 60% capacity and grants the user greater control over their power at the cost of it being physically taxing to their body. Capable of reaching a maximum voltage of 50,000 Volts (the equivalent to the standard police taser), the reach of the ability maxes out at around 20 meters. Attainable during periods of intense stress however, the odds of a misfire increases during this phase when dealing with precise tasks.

• The 80% capacity level seems to only be accessible in an extreme situation that is directly linked to the “fight-or-flight response”. Achieved only once during trials, recorded Voltage seem to cap out at around 100,000 volts with a recorded reach of 40 meters. This increment could only be maintained for around 380 seconds while the adrenaline levels were high, as soon as they began to subdue, the user started losing consciousness.

• Regarding the 100% increment, this phase was yet to be attained during testing but considering the geometrical progression of this ability, a maximum output was estimated to reach around 200,000 volts, accompanied by an approximate reach of 80 meters. Considering the close link between this higher cap and the instinct of self-preservation, the chances of achieving this type of power in the near-future are extremely low.

OTHER ABILITIES:

A collapsible 7-inch tablet that comes with a useful USB 3.0 jack-in which not only serves as Ayako's personal computer for both school and overall use, this piece of technology was built with a rather decent processor, but the best part of the whole thing is that its still under warranty. Despite not having the best battery-life, Ayako always happens to keep it full-charged.

(Safe-Wallet)
One of those gimmicky, anti-electronic theft credit card holders that you see a bunch of people advertise whenever you go out shopping. Possessing a rather fancy Carbon Fiber version, this little case holds not only her credit card but her student ID and a few of neatly folded bills just in case. Despite all odds, Ayako managed to stuff a couple of coins inside it as well due to her constant use of vending machines.

(Volt-Band)
What appears to be a conventional Smart Watch or one of those Fitness Heart-rate monitors, is actually a nice way to keep her powers in check, a discrete rubber bracelet with a built in voltmeter. This allows her to know how many volts she's producing at the current time, allowing her to better adjust to the use of her powers. And the best part of this thing is the fact that it is self-charging.

Let’s kick this off with some heavy nitpicking: I assume her first name is Ayako and her family name Kuroda. Given our standard for character names this would mean the profile should be titled Kuroda Ayako. Please adjust the thread name, profile headline and your account name to that.

Regarding her piercings I need to point out that these often have a bad reputation in Japanese schools. While I would ignore this on most profiles, it needs to be pointed out here, given that the Private Shidarezakura Academy is an elite school. Thus, it would appear appropriate to remove that or add a nod to that rule into the profile.


II. A Simple Question

The overall ability is very satisfying, meaning that I have hardly anything to pick up on. This only leaves me with a single question: How fine grained is her electro magnetic control over objects? How many objects can she approximately control and to what degree?

Done, done and done. The worst part is that I asked it on discord and still made the naming mistake... anyway the piercing part was removed and the name changed.

I re-wrote as "moving around" since it's the just the standard push-pull mechanics. Like pick something up and toss it over there or pull that soda closer because I'm too lazy to reach it. I kinda based it on the infamous games since Cole can toss something as heavy as a street lamp (if google didnt betray me it's around 90 something kg) or like a bunch of garbage bins at once (I kinda just divided 100 by 5 in order to get a decent number). I hope it's better now
