APPEARANCE:
Mirai is a middle-schooler with a rather average height for a 14 years old girl. Her light-brown hair is somewhat wavy (and sometimes a bit messy); Her hair reaches to her shoulders. She has big, purple eyes and fair skin. Mirais build is not really slender or fragile-looking, but she also isn't overweight or particularly plump. However, her bust-size is noticeably larger than of many other girls around her age. She wears her school-uniform most of the time. She is usually seen smiling.

PERSONALITY:

Friendly and outgoing!
She's not really popular at school... (mainly because of her strange antics...), but she comes off as a talkative and cheerful person.  Usually, she is nice to everyone around her. Mirai is most likely the one to open up first in social interactions, because she gets attached to other people really quickly. She hates to leave her close ones hanging or being unable to help them. She generally takes loyalty and trust between friends for granted.

The power of courage!
Mirai is somewhat brave, maybe a little bit too bold. Stands up for 'the underdogs' even though she isn't that strong herself. She is somewhat oblivious to the things happening around her, especially  dangerous ones.  That's how she might appear, at least.

GUTS!
She is a big 'fan' of Sogiita Gunha. Obviously. Because of her admiration for him and his deeds, Mirai tries to live accordingly to his ideals. In short: “She wants to have GUTS!”. Her opinion of him is really high, even though she sometimes doesn't seem to fully agree with his thoughts. She denies an unhealthy obsession for Sogiita Gunha, but she sure acts strange in his presence...

Actually smart?
She doesn't look like it because of her quirky behavior, but she is actually one of the top-ranked students in her school according to her high grades. She is much more keen than most people would expect her to be. Seems to have a fair amount of knowledge about chemicals too.

HISTORY:  She was born in Academy City as only child to her family. Her parents own a family restaurant in District 15, where she spent a lot of time in the past. Mirai was rather quiet and shy as a young girl, and often blamed herself for the constant disputes between her parents.

She takes part in the power curriculum program since her early childhood, and developed the common ability of telepathy.  

After she turned thirteen and graduated from elementary school, she decided to move to a student dorm to live by herself. Because she was timid and distanced around other students, she didn't manage to make close friends.

However... Not long ago...

“AMAZAING PUNCH!”

She witnessed how a certain esper beat up a whole bunch of skill-outs to protect a young woman. Where others looked away, he fought. Mirai was inspired immediately by his strong voice, his dedication and his spirit. He influenced her personality heavily, as she started to look up to him...

After this, she changed drastically... She never talked to him personally, though.

Her goal is not only to be a hero, but also to study chemistry at an university later in her life.

TELEPATHY:
Allows her to transfer information and messages to another persons mind without any devices.  
Basically, her ability works similar to most telepathic powers known: She uses a 'wire' through creating a certain frequency by manipulation of air-vibration. She can communicate with anyone she connected to and vice-versa.

She is currently able to connect to two other persons at the same time.

Her 'wires' have a range of 2 kilometers. She can apply a telepathic connection to anyone in the range of 8, 83 meters. The farther away her target is, the more concentration she needs to keep up the connection. She can also locate her targets trough Telepathy, similar to a compass.

She needs 2 seconds to calculate the telepathic connection.

OTHER ABILITIES:

Tech-Knowledge
She is not a great hacker or something, but she is fairly capable of technologies and computers. She created and build the website of the fanclub on her own. And it works quite properly... Even though she overdid it with the special effects; There is always something exploding.

Chemistry
Her best subject in school, but also one of her hobbies. She often wishes to have access to dangerous chemicals to experiment with. Specializes in acids and explosives. Not an expert yet, but certainly versed for her young age.  

Cooking
Mirai learned to cook early in her life because of her parents occupation as restaurant-owners and her own interest. She might not be a master-chef, but she knows how to cook many different dishes.

There sure is a hype about mental Espers going on. Nice to have you back, though.

You already stated that she can keep the connection up to a distance of about 2km, however I wonder how long her range for applying said connection is? Additionally I’d like you to name a calculation/preparation time for making the actual connection.

By the way: Don’t forget that she really needs to focus in order to stay connected, still bound to face difficulties over longer ranges.


Overall I need to admit that this character sure is pretty enjoyable.

Tracking the people she is attached to should be rather comparable to a compass than GPS at what I see as her current level of strength.
